So my friend Caitlin and I had a dispute which area in our county is better. She had a choice to live in North County with her mom or South County with her dad. She doesn't like her mom as much, she likes rural living, she likes the school here better, and she likes the people in our area better cause there are more families. Except our school is very liberal and the kids treat her like s**t cause she's emo. emo

Anwyays, which one would you guys and girls chose? question

Option A: South San Luis Obispo County (suburban area)
San Luis Obispo (will have 48,000 population in 2020, 44,700 ppl in city now)
~ San Luis Obispo Downtown (upscale clothing retailers along street)
~ Movie Experience (upscale movie cinema)
~ The Grad (night club mainly for college students)
~ Sunset Drive-In theater
Pismo Beach (10,000 population in 2020 and 8,600 population now)
~ Pismo Beach has Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Pismo Pier, and Pismo Sand Dunes

Other:

~ Regal Cinemas (10 screen upscale cinema in Arroyo Grande)
~ Grover Beach Skate Park (in Grover Beach)
~ Mustang Water Slides (3 water slides in Arroyo Grande)
~ Lake Lopez (small recreational lake in Arroyo Grande)
~ The Academy of Dance (SLO Downtown)
~ Costco in San Luis Obispo
~ more shopping in area
Background:
~ cooler weather (70 to 80 degree weather annually)
~ More retirees live in area
~ Pricey homes (average home is above $300,000)

Option B: North San Luis Obispo county (rural)
Paso Robles (36,000 population in 2020, 29,000 population now)
~ The Ravine water park (only open in Summer)
~ Mid-State Fair (big fair open 12 days in Summer that had Aerosmith play last yr)
~ MVP Batting Cages
~ Skate-Mor rollerskate rink
Atascadero (30,000 population in 2020, 28,000 population now)

Haven't you posted this query before, in the Discussions subforum? South County reigns superior.

Yeah, not much to say about my area...downtown is getting Macy's. Downtown is the big hang out spot, and the place with all the clothing stores that I can't afford. I'm a beach boy, yup....I'd pick Pismo Beach over hanging out in San Luis Obispo. Even though SLO is the city life here.

=D

Whatever!

Plus, it depends on the areas in both countries.
I like Okinawa.
But I hate Tokyo.
I love Hong Kong.
But I don't like Mainland.
