Inquisitor Brock ArmasTermin That last one's freakin' cool, what is it? But yeah, AR is the optimum zombie rifle for sure. BUZZ wrong. Though M-16 does have it's advantaged, it isn't the optimum. I personally can;t decide between the Springfield or the Shotgun. They are a tie, but depending on where I'm at and such. The 700 comes in most major calibers. 30-06, .308, etc.
I disagree. The AR is light and mobile. And the .223 round is exactly what you want. If you're trying for head shots all the time at a medium-short range, a high-capacity rifle with light ammunition at high velocities is exactly what you want. And with a scope it can be accurate out to 400 yards. You can have fun with your slow reload times and heavy ammo when they're swarming, but I'll take 30 rounds per mag of skull-piercing .223 any day.

That's why you carry a side arm, and since you don't have any form of bayonet or melee ability with it, you'll be chewed lunch.
And if you have the stripper clips, it's far from slow, easier to reload said clips than the AR magazine, and if for some reason one of the clips does jam or not load, you can pull the shell out and load it that way, versus the AR. And with a scope, the 1903 can be accurate to like, 800 yards.
Plus the 1903 is more reliable, which is saying something.
Enfield? That remake that takes 1911 mags?

Stoic Socialist Inquisitor Brock Enfield? That remake that takes 1911 mags? Si señor.
Eh, I've seen one, it was cool, but I wouldn't use it.
I'd just go with a 1911.
Molluskman I have to go with the springfield. It is reliable, as stated before and can be used at long ranges. Ultimately, an M1 garand would be my top pick
I've got one, it's great, but the clips are annoying, tedious to reload, and hard to find if you lose them.
