Seizure Headlights
Contracting, disconcerting;
my eyes are void to the fluorescent lights above me.
Attractive and alluring,
he is to my seizure headlights.
And within this erupting darkness that he brings,
and that he isn't so real with blinded fragility,
I know he's always going to be there beside me,
holding my hand so silently within his; still.
My heart beats a thousand conundrums and you
still haven't left my head...
Your voice when I am down there is almost flat and dead...
Along the coarse buildings holding the edges of time in my mind; I walk.
Those headlights are above my crown of jewels.
Tarnished and dull, they keep me safe before the seizures return, but when on
remembrance, they come back again.
I just want to forget them.
And never forget you ever again.
And in those moments, before reality disappears from within,
into the unblissful and exaggerated
abyss in this tighetning body lock of collisions without my eyes,
you hurry to me and catch me when I fall, and kiss the lights upon my brow, and I sigh.
"I'm so unbelievably lucky to have you , Jarrett, so close to my heart."
