Hakuna opened one orange-amber eye, feeling the light that flooded the entrance of her temporary den disappear. Night was falling, and that meant it was time to wake. After stretching and yawning, she nudged the cubs that had been curled up near her.
"Come on, hellions. Time to wake. It's your first night out of the den tonight." The crimson and gold lioness had been looking forward to this. Introducing her own demonspawn to the night. She looked forward to showing them their world.

Kitsune Mistress Nyoko
Nyota was the first to stir, and he languidly god to his feet, tail flicking as he stretched. At his mother's words, a smirk appeared on his muzzle. He'd spent far too much time confined to one location. At last, he could greet the night and begin to paint the Savannah red with the blood of his enemies... (Of course, for now the biggest kill he'd be making was mice... But a cub was allowed to dream.)
"Mother, is the moon out tonight?"

Mvua'wingu's silvery eyes glowed warily from the back of the den. She had been awake for a little while before her master had awoken to greet her cubs. The cub's white pelt was out of place among the dark reds and blues of the others, and the overpowering feeling of demonic power arising from the new life only made her feel more separated.
She did wonder if she would join them in the night, however. The open air provided a slight sense of freedom, though she knew she couldn't flee. That moral had been taught to her from the beginning, and she would stick to it.
She had hoped that at least one of the cubs would be kinder, but that idea was foolish; Nyota's sneering attitude was enough to subdue her even to these cubs, who were several moons younger than she was herself.

Zikasaleli snapped to awareness at her mother's words. Rising quickly, she stretched her limbs gently, her light gaze shining with interest at her mother's declaration. She'd been hoping to leave the den now for some time, her cub instict of curiosity burning in her. She was ready to explore and to learn.
With a small grin, Zika moved quietly to her mother's side. She did not speak unless she absolutely had to, and finding nothing to say, she remained quiet, but her small body practically quivered with excitement, and she anxiously awaited the chance to go. She silently glared at her sleeping siblings, willing them to wake and join the group.

Usare woke with a little yawn and stretched, tail tip flicking back and forth. "Are we hunting, mother?" he asked, claws flexing in and out of small paws. From what he knew of if, he thought that he would like hunting. That, and also fighting and chasing things that didn't respect the real masters of the savannah - the demons. Like them.

Si'lin Drathir yawned and flicked an ear, the stirrings of others drawing out of slumber. With a mewling sound, the gold and red cub rolled over, eyes popping open at the mention of hunting. Rising, he hopped half-onto the back of Usare and peered at their mother. "Hunting?" Ears were perked and an eager grin spread upon his young face.
