Unyezi listened, and was surprised to be reminded of Zizi's family. He'd known about her brothers, certainly, but they hadn't stood out in his mind so well that the reminder was startling. It was a good reason to want to leave, to find missed family. At the same time, her brother had not been taken away, had not been stolen.. but a visit was never unwelcome, and where they had moved shortly after the war, he would certainly have a difficult time finding them if he wished. The king sighed thoughtfully, nodding carefully.

"I suppose that's a reason that deserves looking into."

"Thankyou, so much." She smiled and while she felt guilty for telling a lie like that...to use her missing family so seemed so bad, when others also had missing family out there...

But it had to be done. There were no males here she'd dream of asking and she certaintly would never marry again. Tamu had been her partner and always would. She just needed a little help and with a little luck, there'd be a few more candidates about to be her apprentice or fill other vital rolls in the pride. Besides, she was the last of her family here, with their pride. The family shouldn't end with her because she'd had the misfortune to loose Tamu at such a young age. Her proud father would have been so heartbroken at such a thought! There was only one thing for it - to have cubs. The end.

"I'll leave in a week or so, I think. It'll give me time to finish up a few things here." And for her time to come and the moon to change to what should be a good phase...

Unyezi wasn't missing any of his own family, though he sympathized greatly with those who were missing someone. And this was a special situation, everyone else was relying on the moon and Thoth to help find their missing family and bring them home, but this family wasn't really looking. He had absolutely no idea what the true reason was that Zizi wanted to leave, but he trusted that she could return to her job without great difficulty- and if they had to, they still has Sini and she could take an apprentice. He nodded.

"Ok, don't forget to come and say goodbye before you go," he said with a small smile, "Don't want anyone disappearing unexpectedly."

*

"Of course." She nodded and mentally reviewed their conversation. Zizi thought it had gone quite well, really, though it had prompted her to make an unexpected discision. Still, plenty of time to change her mind if she wanted.

"Well now, thats everything, I think...."

As he was not doing any job in particular at the time, he was in no rush to get away from the conversation but was not going to keep her there either. He nodded to her, glad that they finally got to talk and pleased she was thoughtful enough to warn of any trips away (which wasn't surprising, but still appreciated, of course!).

"It's good we finally got to talk," he said.

FIN.
