I tried mice. Daija hates mice. Ball Pythons are from somewhere in Africa and their natural prey is gerbils so I'm trying to work with the picky eater of a snake, not fight with him.

Anyway, I'm more interested in how to get them to breed. The mice we had did absolutely nothing so I don't know if the cage was too small, there were too many males per female or vice versa, if they need a whole separate little nursery type of area or what.

Apparently, they breed like mice... neutral
I had hamsters that bred like rats..

And also, mice are more fatty (or not as healthy) for snakes as gerbils are.

I had hamsters, and they made like, 12 babies. and a week later the baies made babies. they were all inbred. mabey they were hillbillies!

My friend had the same issue with her rabbits, Contamar. She had a brother and a sister and they bred like... well... rabbits. But then the mother would eat all the babies. Seriously, PETA should stop beating up on humans for animal abuse, and start fighting with the animals themselves.

But I can't really help with your snake problem, Tai. Our snake would only eat dead mice. He was picky, but at least we could just pick his food up from the pet store. Though one time, the mouse wasn't dead. Just stunned. The snake wouldn't eat it.
