Aggressive and energetic, there's nothing Jini enjoys more than exercise and competition. She's of the opinion that she's faster, smarter and generally better looking than your average joe and there's nothing she detests more than being proved otherwise. To her utter dismay, however, she's naturally clumsy and always trips over her own feet. Also, Jini inherited her mother's size- she is small, particularly for a lioness who was born to a family with such a large ('humungosaur,' according to her mother) gene.
Her pride is her most treasured possession. She's quick to react and has a wild temper, so it is usually her own failure to be patient and understanding that jeopardizes her dignity. Although, she would never recognize that fact and, if she did, certainly wouldn't admit it.
Like concrete, Jini is stubborn and tough. Once she's made up her mind, there's absolutely no way of changing it, because, of course, she's always right.

Personality:
Gentle and kind, Bari is generally an incredibly friendly soul. She adores meeting knew people, especially ones that she can like and really learn to enjoy spending time with over and over again. While this girl is very much a people person, she also enjoys nothing more than spending some quality time alone where she can keep her thoughts organized.
Bari is a quiet and level-headed girl, though she is sometimes sarcastic and has always known what she wants out of life; a mate and family of her own. She believes that these desires are simple and believes that, while falling in love is a very serious business, it should also be one of the easiest things to accomplish. In her head, there's an image of a perfect man and she's dead set on finding him some day- even though he probably doesn't exist.

Sanuye is sweetly insane and actually appears to be completely normal, at first. Which she is- until she or one of the people that she holds dear to her heart are crossed. Spiteful and prone to temper tantrums, this girl's gentle side is coupled by an equally (but completely opposite) unpredictable, violent tendency. She is simple minded and honestly believes that the sun revolves only around her and the other set of people that make up her world; her mother and her sister. There is almost nothing Sanuye wouldn't do for them. A little on the slow side, this girl does not understand (or does not care to understand) abstract ideas like guilt and love and empathy. She prefers more basic emotions (like anger and joy) and relies on her instinct for most things.
Her soul goal in life is to be as big and as strong and as powerful as possible, and she's not about to let anybody stand in her way. She's possessive and controlling, and while she is not a master manipulator, she's a big supporter of violence. In fact, she'd quite prefer skipping the niceties and cutting to the chase. A beautiful girl with an elegant name and a seemingly proper, gentle disposition. Dhaunsiya is all about appearances and lies. Without them, she would have nothing. She likes nothing better than spinning webs, chalked full of wild lies that leave her victims reeling with confusion, frustration or both. Mind games are her forte, and her way with words (usually) helps this particularly treacherous girl weasel her way out of any predicament.
Abandoned by a sickly mother at a very young age, Dhaunsiya remembers very little about her roots and cares about it even less. As far as she's concerned, she simply is- her present is the only present. Selfish and cold-hearted, there isn't anything she wouldn't do to succeed, and her ability to remain distant from all types of living creatures helps her get what she wants out of life. Unfortunately, nothing is never enough, and her refusal to let herself get closely attached to anybody has left an aching hole in her heart.

Sarcastic, lazy and quick to anger- the only thing that keeps Bao off of his butt, which he’d rather sit on all day than do anything else, is his gigantic ego and pride. He is a loyal friend, simply because he does not like to disappoint and can not stand the thought of having obligations. They are inevitable in life, however, and Bao is always quick to follow through with them, so that they’re over and done with and no longer matter. He’s snobby and vain, and grudgingly admits that he needs to exercise regularly in order to keep up his appearance. Calculative and clever on the outside and not afraid to show it, Bao likes to give off airs of detachment. Deep, deep down, however, he’s about as tough as a teddy bear and loves to cuddle.

Rana is a bit of a space-case; she's distant and aloof, and doesn't seem to care much about herself or other people. Life is what it is, and she tends to accept things as they are. She is an intelligent girl, and never passes up the opportunity to share whatever knowledge she has with unsuspecting passers by. This fact, combined with the slightly detached and snobby aura that clings to her frame, makes her an (almost) insufferable know-it-all.
At her core, Rana is a very compassionate lioness, who wants nothing but happiness for the people around her. She appears distant because she is incredibly selfless, and never thinks twice about putting somebody else's needs above her own. Her very sub-conscious is responsible for keeping her detached from her surroundings because, if she were to get too involved, she would never stop giving. Years of being a bit of a doormat finally made this beautiful girl crack and set up emotional walls around herself.

Generally, Sadal is a quiet and peaceful soul, who possesses a playful kind of intelligence that not even Konokubwa’s chaotic reign could squash. He likes to think before he speaks and does his absolute best to help whenever and wherever he can. Soft spoken and humble (almost to the point of being insecure), Sadal is a wonderful secret keeper and a faithful friend. Nothing, however, is more important to him than the king. In fact, his loyalty isn’t necessarily for the king, but for the position it’s self. Sadal is a bit of a suck-up and he understands that, even though he might be able to tilt the king’s will in his favor every now and then, whatever decisions made by the king are final. Because of this, he does his best to stay in the king’s good graces and very rarely opposes any decisions made- unless they push boundaries that he’s completely uncomfortable with . It is in this way that he is like a chameleon. When Konokubwa ruled, Sadal went out of his way to keep the other lion happy and, now that Kibwana has taken the reigns, he will agree with and do whatever he can to ensure his steady position as Mtawa. He is a lazy and passive lion, who enjoys the perks of being Mtawa to the extreme- even if it meant living a long and loveless life.

A gentleman to the core, there is nothing Moja wouldn’t do for a lady in need, especially if they happened to be pretty. Slightly shallow and cold underneath all of the kindly formality, Moja prides himself on his intelligence and his strength- the former of which he doesn’t necessarily possess all of the time. He does have his moments, though, and there are definitely hints of a sweetheart behind that superiority complex, but it would take some time, patience and fine tuning for that particular part of him to shine through.
Despite his vanity and off the shoulder arrogance, Polemoja knows and understands the role males play in the Kunanda Pride and does not mind in the least. He's a lazy smooth talker who loves children, regardless of what he says, and wouldn't rather be anywhere else. As far as he's concerned, the ladies can be in charge. Let them take care of all the difficult stuff. He'd much rather take a snooze in the shade.

this handsome boy's a direct descendant of Kusini royalty (his grandmother's the new queen) and, being so, Nyiju is very loyal to his pride. He'll never leave it and, unlike his mother, doesn't really care for things like adventure. Nyiju's a simple, honest, down-to-earth kind of guy who knows what he's all about. He doesn't try to impress anyone, and oozes a gentle sort of confidence; he never worries about anything, and doesn't understand why anyone would even bother in the first place.
"If its meant to be, it will be," is his everyday dictum.
he's also a careless flirt by nature, and usually doesn't mean anything by it but, if a curious lady gives him a little extra bait to play with, Nyiju would sooner chew his own foot off than turn her away. He loves to love.
