i bought it at a game stop used cause it looks interesting, and it was weird...so f'n weird, had to watch it 3 times and go on a fansite just to understand every thing that happened but defenatly best anime ever. its only 13 eispodes and i got lucky, i bought a dvd with all of them for like $15, now to get all of them you need to buy the 4 dvd box set for $100.

lain contains no chibis or really anything cute(expect for her bear pjs) and many of the scene contain little to no dialoge. and it will make you wonder what the ******** is going on more then 3 times an episode, but it was the best anime ever.
