So it finnaly happened. Zombies invaded. You are yourself, sitting at home when the news reports that Z-day has occured. In the first hours of the invasion there arn't too many zombies, but the infection will spread quickly. You have enough time to get ready, find your families and friends and start a basecamp before you're in trouble...or you can do nothing.

Zombies are out and about at the beginning of this roleplay, but not too many. It will take some time before their numbers become overwhelming. Your decisions are your own in this environment, and we're playing it realistic. You are yourself. You have what training you have.

Zombies are:

Fast and instinctual. They have no normal human limits, which means they run fast and don't need to eat or breathe. Numourous shots to the body, or a blow to the head will kill them. Zombies will evolve in some time. Updates as they come.
Zombies can not break down walls, but will break windows or glass coverings if there are enough of them to physically overwhelm the barrier. They will not strike a barrier.

Zombies cannot drive or operate guns, but may carry blunt or sharp weapons.

Humans that are not frenzy-killed by a zombie will transform via bite within 10 minutes to a few days, depending on the severity of the bite and the conditions that they are stabalized in. A zombie bite vaccination may be found later in the roleplay...or it might not.

Weapons are as accesible as your imagination allows. No impossible ninja fighting. You can only fight bare handed against one or two zombies, and it's only to stun them. Remember, think of them as human without limits.

Have fun, PM me with any questions or concerns.

Chris stared at the television in front of him, jaw dropped. He pulled out his cell phone and called his friend Drew. He needed to move fast. No telling how quickly the infection would spread. Reports had been saying that zombies had finnaly arrived, and the government was slow in responding.

Apparently the government is in denial of the whole situation, and has a moral dillema with shooting former humans. the news report prattled in the background. Finnaly, the dialing went through and Chris heard Drew pick up. He didn't even wait for a hello before he started talking.

"Get the swords. I'll grab air soft guns. How much gas does Gidget have? My car has about half a tank."

" Are you crazy, we are taking my car. There is no way I'm getting into you mother mobile. I want ot be in an all metal, all drive, four wheel vehicle that can do whatever we might need it to." Drew said watching the same broadcast. The public awareness announcement was crap and Drew was already half way up stairs before the TV finally turned off. NO one else was home. It was Drew's day off from work and he was just simply relaxing before his worst nightmare had come to life. Now he was more then ready with a pocket full of adrenaline and a wall of different weapons to pick from. Drew grabbed his favorite daggers, great for cutting through skin in one swipe and long enough to keep a distance, as well as grabbing his pike for safe measure. It had been a long time sense drew had shot a gun but under this kind of pressure and situation, he was more then ready to fire it off again. Pulling a very nice long barrel pistol from underneath his bed and loading it up, Drew was finally ready.

"Yeah Chris, we are going to need some more gun fire, and my first stop is London Ohio. I am not leaving Jordan." Drew called back over the phone in a furry of stress and terrible ache. His girlfriend/fiancé lived an hour and a half away and it was all precious time they would be using up.

"As long as we grab Emily on the way. Car sticks together, you know."

Chris sprinted downstairs, nearly sliding down the banister. He pulled out the Springfield .45 and checked the magazine. He grabbed a duffel bag and threw as much ammo as he could manage into it. He tucked the pistol into his pants and fastened the two short swords he'd bought at the renaissance festival to his waist. He threw on a hoodie over it all and was wearing comfy jeans and Converse shoes. He'd be fine for awhile concerning attire. Last, but not least, he pulled out the mother of his gun collection, the MP5. He'd purchased a strap. He threw it over his shoulder and grabbed the duffel bag, broke through the door, phone still pressed against his head with his other hand.

A zombie was mulling around in the street. It hadn't noticed Chris yet.

Chris spun around, locking his door, still talking to Drew.

"Okay, there's at least one in the street. Run him over. Beep when you're ready for me. I'm calling Emily."

He dialed his girlfriend's number, praying she'd pick up. Chris' family was up visiting his Grandparents in Dayton. He'd simply have to hope they had enough sense to barricade themselves up.

Drew loaded what he could into his small but metal car and swerved out of his drive way and on to the road, hitting a few zombies. He was in complete go go go mode and wasn't about to slow down. TJ was just down the road and in his own car already. His car filled to the top with guns. "nice TJ, love the guns." Drew yelled out his car as he spun around the corner and down his own backyard to Chris’s back yard. drew started slamming on the horn and called Chris at the same time to get him out here and loaded up his own gun as well. The next thing he was going to do was call up Jordan and make sure she got to a safe and high place for them to save her at.

Chris walked through the door just as Gidget ran down the zombie in the street, the corpse flying through the air. Chris hung up the phone with Emily and dashed toward Drew's car, throwing the duffel bag in the back seat. He put the pistol in his pants and hefted the submachine gun into his arms.

"Ready. Emily will meet us in her driveway. She's got a bow and daggers, already killed a few. Her family is safe."

"Yeah but for how long...I'm sorry to say, but in a few hours, we are going to have to assume everyone we know that we can't see is dead. It's just the safest way to go about life." Drew said bringing up some bad and untasteful news but he knew it was the truth. He kicked the pedal and Drew's jeep shot forward down the street. He tried not to hit the zombies but some just looked fun to hit. Turning on to Tylersvile(sp) drew had to swerve through both sides of the road. It was covered with cars and crashed vehicles with dead people walking around everywhere.
"We are going to have to steel all the gas we can get, and maybe some food from UDF...I'm going in and you fill the car up." Drew said in a stern voice as he hit a few zombies in the way. The broke in half and crawled along the ground before stopping completely.
"How long do you think we can make it."

"I'm not sure, sir. And don't worry, i'm totally psychologicially ready for this.
You've got your pistol, right? TJ can cover us as we fill up at UDF, as soon as we're ready though, we need to gun it out of their. I'm gonna be feeling really vulnerable there."

"I'm sure you will but you can handle this. I know you can." Drew said turning at Tylersvile and running through the grass as the intersection into the UDF gas station. he parked the car and took off into the store, shooting a few heads that pooped up to all the sounds. there was a few dead and living ones in the actual store but Drew could handle them with a few shots. Drew moved quickly around the store, looking for valuable food and junk stuff to chew on. He found many different kinds of good stuff and piled it all onto a cart. there seemed to be quite the crowd forming outside so he decided to double time it and dumped whole rows of food onto the cart.

Turns out that TJ had to do the pumping, and it was Chris that had to cover him. He was standing on top of the jeep, between the roll bars, firing into the zombies that were moving toward the pump with his submachine gun.

"Drew!" he shouted, "Hurry up!"

Drew moved from the store and into the parking lot as fast as he could. Fear pulsed through his body and he grabbed his pistol to hold out what he could.
"Get the food and throw it in the trunk. I got this." Drew said shooting a few and pulling out his sword in the other hand. He continually moved toward the car and started it. They where out of there within a minute.

"So to Emily's"

Chris nodded, reloading the MP5. He fired at a few stray zombies in the road, just to keep them at a distance.

He looked back at TJ driving behind them and smiled. TJ had a crazy look on his face like he was having the time of his life.

Drew looked in the mirror after taking out a few more zombies with the front of his jeep and laughed. TJ did look crazy.

"I hope the retard will make it out ok. Go ahead and call him, tell him what we are doing. We only have room for the 4 of us. we can't fit him, do we want to move to a bigger car?" Drew asked after yelling back at Chris who was shouting still. Drew swerved the car back side to side, dodging the traffic and crashes. he cut through the grass a few times and put the car into 4 wheel drive.

"I'm not sure...maybe a van. Or..." the lightbulb in Chris' mind went off. "A Hummer. Drew! Bartos has a Hummer! I don't know if he's still alive, but it's worth checking out!"
