I was listening to this song on my iPod and starting listening to the lyrics closely... here are the lyrics. To me, it looks like it could be a duet with Bella and Edward.
I will label the parts to who I think would be singing that part.

ya. i always thought of that song for the longest time.

ive had that song on my ipod before
i even started reading Twilight.

i absolutely love that song.

the first time i listened to that song after i read
Twilight, i immediately thought of Edward and Bella.


recently, i was on a road trip, so out of complete
boredom, i decided to listen to every song on my ipod.

thus discovering a new song pertaining to New Moon.
when Edward left.

the song is, Taking Over Me by: Evanescence.

Where you said the black lace on sweat was like a Breaking Dawn refference... This song came out way before the books. I mean WAY before! Probably before Bella or Edward were even born.
Why's this Grove Coverage band like singing this anyway? Alice Cooper sang this wayyyyy better!
