You know what I have noticed? I've noticed how black people and mexican people can refer to us white is negative ways but we can't do the same.

For Instance, A while ago at lunch I heard a Mexican girl refer to another girl as a stupid white girl. She was just kidding around but if the white girl responded with you stupid mexican girl...the mexican girl would flip out.
I have nothing agains mexican's or black people. I think some can be very very nice but others are mean, and have double standards. Why is it that we can't call them a stupid mexican whore and they can call us stupid white whores? I'm not saying that all of them do that but many of them do and it's not fair. If we called them a stupid mexican or a stupid black I'd get jumped.

Do you feel the same way?

Meh... It's because they have through years and years been seen as the weak race. Saying "black dude" or "Niggah" or something like that, is to point out that they were the slaves and you're above them. I perfectly understand them.
Caucasian people still look down on colored people, like they were scum. (Not everyone does)
It's like insulting all of Africa at once because they were once used as slaves and killed just so we could take their resources, and build colonies.
But you're right, it's a little tight still hanging on to it all, because it's not like it's our fault, we didn't do anything to them. :

Its all in their parents or how they were raised and what they were exposed to.

Where I live, its really diverse and instead of looking at skin, we look at their attitudes.

I'm glad I grew up here.
I have friends of all nationalities and types; I mean, we still get the usual "Every Asian is Chinese" & "Minorities don't know any English...".

If not, I'd probably be "afraid of the white people and nervous around blacks". xP

My family shares those types of thinking...that the world is just full of racist sons of bastards who killed their people etc...
My Grandma's father was killed by Japanese soldiers during the Invasion in China.
She holds a grudge against them but she doesn't let it completely take over her and make her hate ALL of them.

Its all in the family.

I've totally had that happen to me. But sometimes I'll just be joking around with my friend they'll call me a silly white person and I can call them stupid mexican! rolleyes

It's just who you're friends with and comfortable around. People are racist against every skin color, white, dark, golden, whatever. It's terrible but that's the world we live in.

And I'm not gonna lie, my parents...fairly racist, (BUT, they never say anything bad until they are REALLY drunk) Sometimes I'm appalled by it, then I just let it go, ya know?
