krazymoop How come all the weirdos came out to see the new BATMAN movie, just because of Heth Ledger dying and all, but this movie has very little hype? thats not fair at all
Or MAYBE it was because The Dark Knight is actually a better movie than Soul Men. I mean, come on, everyone has grown up with some incarnation of Batman at one point in time. This movie was way hyped even before Ledger's death. And it became popular because it lived up to expectations, not because Ledger died.
Also, I bet that Ledger's last incomplete movie (whose name escapes me at the moment) won't be popular because Ledger is in it. It will either succeed because it is good, or fail because it is bad. And because it's a Terry Gilliam movie, it could be one or the other.
Seriously, dude, I think you need to reconsider your stance on the popularity of The Dark Knight.
