The terms fruit and vegetable were originally developed to reflect culinary standards. Vegetables were eaten alone or as part of an entree, fruit were for dessert, or occasionally, as part of a garnish/sauce.
The concept that "fruit have seeds, vegetables don't" is bullshit that somebody made up in the last 50 years.
---
Speaking of fruit, the forbidden fruit of the Bible is NOT an apple, as often said by people. The tree of forbidden fruit grows ONLY in the Garden of Eden. The confusion of it being an apple began in the medieval ages when the word "apple" could refer to any fruit.
---
Speaking of the medieval ages, there are a lot of misconceptions about them. For example, many people think life expectancy in the middle ages was no more than 25-35 years; in reality, living to 50 or 60 wasn't uncommon.
Many also believe that people of the medieval ages were unclean, rarely bathed, and soap was expensive and uncommon; while people didn't bath daily, washing hands before every meal was expected, and bathing a few times a week was typical. Soap was also relatively common. Every town or village would have at least one practiced soap-maker, and it was typically available inexpensively. Remember, soap can be made of animal by-products which otherwise would be thrown away.
Plate-armor was so heavy that knights could hardly move, and would need help up on their horses? False.
Women wore low cut dresses for centuries, and it was only the Victorian era which saw conservative dress more popular? False.
People constantly drank alcohol, because clean water was hard to find? False.
And so on.

GilAskan XWraith_LordX About 300,200 people live in Iceland. Related- The 2007-2008 recession hit Iceland far worse than any other country in the world. The effects on the US were almost nothing compared to those on Iceland. What happened in Iceland is not at all related to the recession. It is actually a cycle in their unstable economy.
