"This guild had english, why not spanish?"
Here you can speak and learn spanish!
Me gusta la hamburguesa. Me encanta la pizza. No me gusta ni el yogur ni el agua.
The underlined words are cognates, words similar in two languages. Ironically, cognates IS a cognate! Los cognados, cognates.
Can you translate my paragraph?

I like the word "pizarron". It means chalkboard and a lot of people think it means "pizza" in my Spanish class.

And "sofa" in Spanish is "el sofa". Hooray for cognates.
