I am very curious on what your fursona's name(s) are, and where you got the name from or how you made it up.
Mine started out as Lee, but I wanted it to be a little more exotic sounding so I finally thought up the name Leonis off the top of my head. Thing is, it's an actual word.
The problem with this furry name is that people in the fandom hear Leonis and think I'm a lion all the time. I get it no matter where I go. I'm a panther, not a lion!!! It makes me wonder if I should get a different name. Do you think Leonis sounds like a lion's name?
Now on to your names.

Well my fursona name came first to my mind after seeing lots of anime's so i took on the fursona name of Kasumi, and i have been using it for many years, but then later i decided to modify my own name form real life and thus became viky, though i still also use the other name biggrin
I am a cat girl at heart but also loved equine so i decided to try that also biggrin

Well, I made this name for Gaia (found it in a Japanese-English dictionary I believe) and over time the shortened version "Shoki" just kinda stuck, and I decided I liked it.

My RPC name came from my OC name which came from the name of someone I met.
I met Ella Shaviv, who's probably related to one of the professors by that name; I created a character with a similar name; I drew off that to make an RPC.
Interestingly enough, the character of Ela Shaviv started out as having a coat pattern of something between a lynx and a leopard, but changed after a dream I had in which she was white or just off-white with very pale blue streaks and stripes. Bathing, I might add, in what was once a disgustingly filthy river, and now is at least clear, but I wouldn't bathe in it.
Edit: eh, Lee?

That's easy enough.
Zanzibar is a name taken from a stupid misspelling.
I mistook Sinbad the Seefahrer as "Sansibar the Seefahrer" and to be more original it became Zanzibar. Just a shame I've got an entire bloody half island named like that as well wink .
My other character, Swinter, got his name by adding an S in front of Winter. Cause he's a snow white canine really :3. The name actually turned out to be pretty Unique as well. (And easy to pronounce!)

The name Sadow came from a misspell, but it's more original than shadow. Actually in Japanese sadow means system and is spelled seido, so that's what her name became, her middle name is saiko, which, of course, means psycho, so she's my relatively psychotic wolfie. ;3
Then Talah, I don't really remember where her name came from.
Nisa's My lioness, and again, the name just popped into my head....>.<

Asphyxiation is my main fursona, I just like the word. I heard about it from shows that revolved around IRL crimes, when they would describe someone who was suffocated or strangled.
Acorn is my secondary. What better name for a squirrel who's got nuts?

My fursona's name is "Ripperella." My real name is Gabriella and Rella has been a nick name of mine since i was a little kid. The name was inspired from the Rippers from the Tank Girl comics and Ripper Roo from Crash Bandicoot, one of the first video games I played the s**t out of.
I'm not a roo. I'm just a very vicious bunny.
Lydeth is another name that I use. I made it up for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign and it stuck so I've been using it as a personal tag for a while. Jsut recently saved up the money to change it on Gaia, as well. :D

Foxpaws, my main fursona's name, came from the way I can bend my wrist. I can touch my arm with my hand, and I saw a TV show with a fox with very limp wrists like that so I just called myself Foxpaws. Skunkpaws, the fursona that I'm slowly trying to switch over to, is just a play off of Foxpaws.

My original Fursona name was Amariyah, but it had no special meaning so I switched it to Rain (Rainey)
For my Irish wolfhound fursona, it's Old Faith. It's supposed to be because she's faithful and loyal and will always be there for you when you need her.

I've had three different fursonas in my time as a furry.
Ookami Shichiyou- A shapeshifting chimera, her name is japanese for "wolf moon" Longi- A hermaphrodite Gorgonops. "Longi" (pronounced Long-ee) is short for Longifrons, the second part of the binomial name of Gorgonops Longifrons.
Comah- my new and current one, is an anthro/therianthrope male Unenlagia Comahuensis (a raptor like dinosaur). Same principle as Longi, name-wise
