Ghruaaba is an arabic word that means "strangers"

the it also means a group of people,and shows the true identity of Islam.
the prophet PBUH said "This religon began as somehting strange, and it will return as something strange. Paradise is for the strangers."

the companions of the the prophet Muhammed SAW the taba-e and the
a' ba taba-e, those men and weman who were around, who listened, who heard, who followed, who obeyed, who sacraficed, for the mesanger of Allah swt PBUH.(which is all of us) those were the strangers.

the beloved once said to his tribe " O quriash! if i told you there was an army behind this mountian coming to destroy you will you believe me?"

the Quraish responed" Yes we will believe you"

The beloved responed "then im telling you that im the messanger of god and you are all obligated to follow me"

the whole Quraish tribe thought that what he was saying was "strange" and from that day forward the muslims and islam was known by many names but one in particular is "ghuraaba".

there is also a nasheed called ghuraaba its very beautiful it was first sung by an egyption prisoner..
