Personality: Sporadic episodes of depression and mania, but usually remains in a calm, collected neutral. Often keeps to herself.
Biography/History: During life Cassidy was born into the family of a powerful German General and a Japanese women. She was staying with her mother when the bombing of Hiroshima took place. Although not directly within range of the attack, her mother's house had been destroyed the bombing, claiming her mother's life with it and she had no way of contacting her father. For two weeks she traveled the country side, until she died of malnutrition.
When she died, she was sent to a middle class Rukongai, where she had clung to her survival instinct and tried to live by herself. She soon found a collection of children who had died at the same way she did, and in them she found a maternal need to take care of them, as she wished someone took care of her. But after a short while, she would demand they leave and make it on their own. Which earned her the name, "Mama Mamba."
After a decade or so, she left her make-shift orphanage and decided to become a Shinigami. The children felt the bitter mixture of confusion, content, and dejection, but she insisted on it. She put the oldest, and most mature in charge and told them all this one truth;
"Never die longing. Crawl, Slither, Tooth, and Claw your way if you have to. Lose your tail, to live another day. Just don't die with longing in your heart."
