Surfing the internets and whaddo I see? A virus after me...

So guys, surfing on the internets, I somehow picked up a bug. This really pisses me off. Now whenever I start my computer, " Windows explorer" stops responding and the ******** thing keeps restarting itself then does the same s**t, lather rinse repeat.

So, I don't know what to do .
If anyone can offer advice, is good.

turn off the computer and turn it on. then keep pressing f1... or is it f2?
To get to the system restore or boot screen.

I can't remember which one, you may have to try it out.

Just in case you can't uh...
do a roll back you may want to get the system restore discs ready.

Also, in the future, dump the browser you're using, unless it's already Mozilla Firefox, at which point get flash killer and script killer from the mozilla addon site.

I got the "Microsoft AntiVirus 200x" from visiting some undetermined website. Then caught it again at gamecopyworld.com.
I'd suggest you stay away from there.
I just went to get what I usually get for my games, a no dvd crack and trainer. Trainer for after I beat the game of course.
I guess that's dead now, so I'll have to wait for ******** cheathappens to get off their high horse and release their trainers.

Those c**k suckers hold onto their trainers and make you pay for them until the good guys (free lancers I guess) come up with their own free versions.

Problem is I would need to know HOW D:

Start Menu > All Programs > Accesories > System tools > System Restore

You will then get a pop up for the System Restore (if you are running Vista you will need to click "Continue" on a security alert). It will have a recomended restore date, and then custom. Choose Custom and pick a day with a restore point about a week before this started happening. (again if you are running Vista you will have to check the box "Show system restore points older than 5 days" at the bottom"

Just pick the point and then hit next and your computer will start to shut down and do the system restore, can take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour depending on the level of reversal it does. Good luck.

There are plenty of good free ones. AVG, Avast!, Malwarbytes (As an ADDITION to a pay program like Norton), and there are also a bunch of fakes. Do research on the program, first.

Hell, for less than a grand, I can build a fairly EPIC gaming PC. Two grand, and it'll have liquid cooling and an HD monitor, as well.

I think Macs have always had better virus protection-check out an older version, it might be slower, but it won't get sick

If you want to browse the net VERY safely or if you're a business owner, get a Mac
