I was just wondering, is Muhammad (PBUH) your Messiah? I have heard other Muslims call Muhammad (PBUH) that, and I was just wondering. And by Messiah, I also wonder, is he the Messiah that was predicted to come by the Jewish prophets such as Isaiah, and in the Psalms of David?

The Common held veiw is that he is not a Messiah he is simply The Final Prophet just as Wise and worthy as all the Prophets before him , there is no "worship" of mohammed just reverance
Also i like how you add PBUH despite being Chrisitan, very Liberal of you.

Ah. Thanks for clearing that up! :] And I add that because, well, first of all to honor and respect their beleifs and be polite, but I also feel that if I come into a Muslim guild I should at least honor their prophet the least I could. :]
And another reason is from 1 Corinthians 9...
19Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. 22To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. 23I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
I figure if Paul, who was a man of God and servant of Christ, did that for all those people. Becoming what he was not to honor them and bring them to Christ, then I should humble myself as well.

Hey mazuac,
Actually we do not hold the Prophet Muhammad (salallahu alayhi wasallam - the extended version of PBUH in Arabic razz ) to be the messiah. Yes, he was the final prophet of God, but the Messiah is actually Jesus (alayhi assalam - peace be upon him) in Islam. That is, we believe that Jesus will come down to Earth a second time and lead the Believers to victory against the Antichrist.

Ah, thanks~! :] But, what does Jesus do to be the Messiah in Islam, if Mohammad (PBUH) said that Christians, the Christ followers, had been corrupted?

The statememnt that Mohammed named the Christians Corrupt is in regards to the Christians moving Jesus to the status of Godhood, they veiw him meerly as a prophet, just like David and Abraham and Adam, and Noah.
To the Islamic community Jesus still furfulled all the signs of the prophecy that Isaiah layed down.

Yeah, the Christians that Islam calls deviated are not true followers of Christ. The true followers of Christ (i.e. didn't believe in the Trinity, and other innovated matters) were very rare during the time Islam was revealed.

mega pretty chick we r learning bout islam in school, and they said that muslims dont usuallly use statues or pictures for allah, because no one really knows what he looks like or something like that.and that muhammad is not worshipped because he is not known as divine.. is this right??? The part on Allah (SWT) is true, And the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) is not meant to be worshipped primarily due to the fact that Allah (SWT) is the ruler and highest in authority. He gives and takes, He only gives life and takes it as well, Allah (SWT) is capable of anything because he is the most high and most powerful and thus where the 99 names came from. Now Divinity primarily depends upon the different views amongst the Muslims, But all Muslims agree that Muhammad (S.A.W) received divine messages from Allah (SWT), There's no doubt there. All in all, Allah (SWT) is solely to be worshipped, and no statues or physical attributes can even come to mind on how Allah (SWT) looks, Same with Muhammad (S.A.W)
