GUILD RULES - Make sure you read all the rules

Welcome,
Here are the rules you'll need to follow. Most of these are just part of the ToS. Please do not make up excuses if you break the rules.

[- Rulez -]

• Obey the ToS. No exceptions. If you do not follow the ToS you may be banned depending on the severity of your actions.

• Be respectful to your guild mates and Captain. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. Of course you can express your opinion but please don't let it turn into an argument.
  
  
• Please do NOT add the Captain, Vice Captain, and Moderators to your ignore list. It interferes with what they can do, impairing their ability to do their jobs.
  

[- Forum Rulez -]

• No flaming. Everyone makes mistakes, and many people in this guild may be new. Just because they do not know how things work around here, doesn't mean you can flame them.
  
  
• Begging Please do not beg to be a Moderator or a Vice. It gets annoying and can get on our nerves. Any form of asking for item(s) or gold is considered begging. If you need some help with your quest, please ask politely at a thread giving out free items.
  
  
• No Pornographic Material This is against the ToS and will get you banned.

No Stretching No Stretching the page please. It can get annoying. If you want to post an image that stretches post a link instead or make it smaller.

• We don't delete threads. If you ever need to look at one of your old threads. PM one of the mods. For example if you had a tektek contest and ended it, but you didnt save the winning tektek, PM us and we'll let you see your old thead.

Theres no need to make a whole topic stating your new to this guild. Thats what the introductions are for.

You might want to link the TOS, in case you pick up some newbies, but that's all I can think of to improve this!

You're welcome! I used to run a newbie guild on Gaia and I realized that half of them would have no clue what the TOS was unless somebody posted it first! haha. And how many people have read every word of the TOS? Seriously? I've read enough to know what they don't want us to do on here, but alot of it is just legal stuff so they won't get sued!
(But we're all happy that the site isn't being sued, so I definitely can't complain!)

To be honest, I haven't read the rules (But I don't do anything like hack or take advantage of others; it's basic rules like in society and stuff).
(And let's hope that Gaia remains unsued xP)

Yup-I ran a newbie guild and all I did was put a bunch of advice in a forum, add a question and answer section, and recruit people from the Welcom to Gaia forum. ^_^
I helped alot of people, I think, but they typically didn't stick around to post much and didn't have any gold to donate! It was definitely worthwhile though. Its basically sitting dormant until I decide to go on another recruiting spree, to be honest!

And I agree-my siblings have no problem with hacking people, but I don't agree with it at all. I mean, it takes time to get gold, and time is money! So its like stealing money as far as I'm concerned!

The rules are simple, common sense stuff, so it's no problem following them. Easy to follow, and a bit hard to break.
