A pastel colored lioness sat in the midday sunlight, she was used to doing a whole lot of nothing, but lately her mother said she needed to start thinking about the future. Nerit was a slave and because of this had no choices in life, but Indu, the pastel lioness was upper middle class and she had some options to consider.
The lioness was watching a large beetle as it waddled slowly across the ground when ever it would start getting out of reach Indu redirected its path so it would trot towards her. Mind numbing fun, she enjoyed insects they were interesting little creatures that she could dominate over easily.
"How many legs do you have?" she asked the insect before flipping it over and counting, "Six, just like the others..except spiders." she spoke to it again.

A giggle erupted from the cub's maw as she spun in a circle before flopping down on her butt. A large smile decorated her lips as she tilted her back farther and farther her bright purple eyes watching the sky until! She fell! She had leaned too far back!
What a silly child.
A loud ring of laughter spilled from her lips as she shook her head rolling over to her stomach and pushing herself up. Shaking her body she let a yawn slip from her maw.
It was too easy to lose track of time.
Glancing up at the sky again she nodded her head before skipping off [well as much as a lion -can- skip] slipping in between trees and through the grasses.
"La, la, laaaaaaaaa~"
She hummed rather off-key.

Indu's attention with the bug was waning and what seemed to be just in the nick of time she heard small cub's laughter and her heart started to beat excitedly. Someone to play with!
She was growing, an adolescent for sure but she was not ready yet to give up her last few chances to just play as a cub again!
"Hello!" she called cheerfully looking for the source of laughter and humming. She noticed the small cub and started towards her. "Hi there," she looked to be one of Artemis' and Namir's young offspring..what was their rank again? she wondered as she approached. She knew they had cubs, but she had not come into direct contact with any of them.

She continued to sing until she heard another's voice. Excitement lit up on the girl's features as she stopped, mid-note, and looked around. At first she didn't see anything which effectively confused her. "Haallooooooo~" She called loudly as she spun in a circle trying to find this 'mysterious' voice that had called to her. When she didn't find anything she frowned and tilted her head to the side. "Hallo?"
Then the adolescent female came out and spotted her. It wasn't until she spoke again that Taini heard and saw her. A big grin spread across her lips as she pranced up to the other girl closing what distance had been between them. "Hiiiiiiii!" She chirped brightly before plopping herself down.
"Who are you?"
She asked big purple eyes staring at the other with wonder. This was the first time she had come across someone she wasn't related to and boy! It was amazing! She looked nothing like her siblings, well not really so it was just simply...cool to her.
