Shall we hypothesize as to what this years Halloween event will be about? I'm thinking that trick-or-treating will be through Gaia Towns, and that Gambino's Mansion will be reopening. What do you all think?

I doubt it'll be run through towns. That would be a heck of a lot of re-coding and testing. I doubt it'll be possible. Even if it is, I hope it isn't. Simply as it would make it difficult for me to take part.

I moved this from the main forum, as it's non-literacy related.
I hope not too. On this dialup, it'd never work for me. I don't know if I'll do any of the trick-or-treating this year. It depends on if there are any cool items.

It's horrible. I'm going to get my cable back in December if I can find work. Maybe I'll be able to participate in the Christmas event. *sighs* Well, it's no big deal. I can just snap items up in the Marketplace.

I'd wait before getting them in the market. I made upwards of 60k last year selling RJU (Really Jacked Up) items at the market last year, while the prices were still unstable. Even sold a set of RJU Pants for 20k, all by its lonesome.

I'm still holding onto an almost complete set myself. I'm actually only missing one of the jack heads. So I'm thinking about holding that till next year, or maybe the year after. We shall see.

Well, I want to get the items as cheaply as possible. They're usually the cheapest right after the event, which is why I'd scoop them up from the Marketplace right after. Then, as DarkElf says, I could hold onto them and sell them when the prices went up if I wanted to.

I was in Gaia Towns and had ten bugs to deposit. When I went to the fountain to do so, they were all gone. How could it lose my bugs? crying
Then I noticed that after so much time catching them, all the wild bugs disappeared and I couldn't find any anymore. Is there some kind of limit to how many bugs one is allowed to catch per Towns session?

Well that whole grunny thing, that has been one of the most mind-wrenchingly-boring events ever. I didn't think they'd run a spam contest. It was unique, but as per usual the servers couldn't handle it.

I scored 53 grunnies. I hope the stuff appreciates in value so I can sell it for a profit in a few months. Trick-or-treating should start at 9 EST right after they stop the grunny thing. What I think would've been a better idea would be to have grunnies run around the Towns, and people could catch grunnies with their nets.
