info:my name is angie, i'm 16 years old. i've been drawing since i was little,
but i started really caring about what i drew when i was 12. i used to draw
scenes from shows i would watch, and eventually i started drawing on my
own. i try to have variation in my "style" of drawing. i don't like to experiment
with different mediums, actually. i prefer to stick to pen & ink, pencil, and
watercolors. however, if it sounds interesting, i'll probably try it at least once.
i'm kind of big on atc's. if you're interested in trading, you should
message me and we can disgus the details. if you don't know what
an atc is, you should definitely click the link. it's really something cool
to get into. i'm ALWAYS up for trading.
influences:i've actually been influenced by a classmate of mine, Katie Grasso. I think
she is amazing when she draws, and I wish i could link you to some of
her work, but I don't have any links available.
marc johns was a HUGE influence on my overall 'style'. i love his work
and i aspire to create awesome like he does, someday. maybe.

3/19/09
this is a rough sketch of my beautiful girlfriend, Christen.
i'm doing a project in my art class, and i decided that i am going to draw
and try to paint her. i'm going to use watercolor, and i'm crossing my fingers
hoping that it will come out good. (i know her eye is a little off. but i was so
frustrated trying to get it right that i gave up. also, first time drawing glasses. woo?)

fun things:

this was just an idea i had for a cd cover for a friend, but i decided
it was retarded, but i kind of like it. so i inked it, scanned it, edited it,
and uploaded it to my scraps on da.
This was something I initially was going to make for my girlfriend,
but I didn't think it was good enough to give to her, so I didn't.
It's supposed to be like "The apple of my eye", but I don't know.
I scanned it in and played wit it on photoshop, so that's why it's
poorly colored and what not. It was my first color job on photoshop. :3
This has slight nudity! D:
This is weird, i was just sketching in my art book, drew this up in probably
five minutes and decided that i wanted to paint it, so i quickly threw some
watercolor on it, and i ended up with this. A lot of my friends favor it, I
think it's kind of pathetic. I did have a pile of her arms [because they
fell off] on the ground next to her, but I thought it was stupid, so i erased
it on photoshop.
This was a drawing for my very best friend, but I never got around to
finishing it. I really like it, but at the same time I kind of hate it.
I just don't really know what to think about it. It took about 20 minutes,
and I was basically just winging it. :3
This was a quick little sketch I did in art class. Yes, she has a pet mustache.
This was one of my first drawings colored with colored pencils since I
discovered watercolors. I don't really like it that much, so I played with the
hue on photoshop. I thought it was fun to draw, I don't know. I usually
rush my drawings/color jobs. So they're almost always messy.
This was supposed to be a Christmas card for one of my friends, but I never
got around to sending the thing, and it ended up in the trash. Haha.
I thought it would be cute to make a reindeer girl, But I don't really like
how it turned out. It took me probably 10 minutes to draw/paint. It was
a really quick job. But i thought it came out semi okay.
This I made for a stranger who decided to talk to me. She's always pissed
me off, but this is one of my favorite drawings. Even though it's not that
good, I like it. It was fun to paint/draw. At the very last minute she told me
she wanted a mustache, so I had to quick draw that on. So, that's why it
looks very messed up. - This was my first mustache drawing. xD
This is a mermaid girl thing. I wanted her tail to blend in better, but I
was getting frustrated, so I gave up on trying. Her shirt was supposed to
be flannel, but I didn't want to take the time in painting all the different
shades into it, so I just drew the lines in. I don't really like how this came
out, and I'll probably draw a different mermaid eventually. :3
 
These are two drawings I made on ms paint one day because I was bored.
The first one was the avatar on my old account and the second is fanart
for my friend, Aoi. :3 I kind of reused the arm because I was frustrated,
but I think they're silly and I still enjoy them.
This is my Trent Reznor, my pride and joy. :3 I went through a phase where
he was my hero, so I drew this. It was drawn with sharpie makers. It's a
real, real simple drawing, just shapes, basically. No one can see this but me,
apparently. But he does have eyes. his brows are casting a shadow
over them, though. I still really love this drawing, though.
