Sira couldn't help but feel anxious and gleeful inside, though his outside appearance didn't show it. His mane was fully grown in. Soon, he would take the test the would announce him an adult of the pride. Truthfully, Sira could care less about his title as an Heir. All that held to him was a possibility. But the certainty of something else was within his grasp...
His demon's name.
That name only shared with the Aran'shale. And with that step, Sira was certain he could take his place where he was best fit for. The place he'd been training for. As an Arca'an. That did cause his maw to twist in a ghost of a smile. Yes...he would make his father proud. The dark youth began his stretches under one of the sparse trees in the pride's lands.

Kauleni absently scratched at his fully grown mane. He was glad of the significance of the dark red fur, but oh did it itch! His muzzle wrinkled as he clawed at a particularly persistent spot, and finally rose from his resting place with a huff of disgust.
He needed to take his mind off it. Looking about for a slave to practice upon, his eyes instead found his brother, stretching beneath a nearby tree. Well, that would do.
"Sira!" he called out, walking over with a mocking grin. "Care for a spar?"

Sira blinked, rose up, and turned to meet his brother's eyes. He gave the other male a half-smile and nodded. Both could use the practice.
"When do I not care, Kauleni?" He was always up for it. It was easier to hone one's skills against a live opponent, rather than one of air and imagination.

Kauleni's grin widened, and he bowed to his brother. "Perhaps we can add a few scars to that hide of yours, eh, Sira?" he taunted, extending his claws, and slowly circling around his sibling. Head low, Kauleni watched for an opening, any sign of hesitation. For him, battle was something to be carefully analyzed, especially against Sira. His brother was quite the formidable fighter, and sometimes it was all Kauleni could do to keep up with him. But testing Sira's limits as well as his own always seemed to please his inner demon. Kauleni gave a dangerous purr, digging his claws into the ground before darting forward with the other paw swiping down. A feint. Kauleni's purple eyes watched eagerly. How would his brother react?

"Perhaps we can add a few to yours, Kauleni." Sira bowed and took a defensive stance himself, making sure not to tense his muscles too much. He needed to be ready to attack or defend, whichever was most appropriate. And when his brother charged him, he ducked and shot forward, looking to set his brother off balance or knock him over.
