She looked around from where she was standing it earlier in the morning, and she was up. She was woken up by her father leaving her side and wandering out of the den making his way to do his morning duties. She made sure to ask her mother before wandering out of the den. Now she was ready to spend a day out wandering. Coming home before dark of course. She loved the freedom that she felt on these days, even if some times she spent it lazying around and sunning herself. Or if she practiced or even running into others. She loved it and she was glad to get out and around.
She stretched her paws, thinking about what she was going to do. She started to trot toward one of the many dunes in the lands. These things were always fun for her. She giggled and made her way up it before giggling softly pawing at the sand on the top, watching it tumble down. She was starting to learn how when you shift your weight you could come stumbling down. Between figuring that out on herself and her mentor teaching her how to fight without tumbling.
She paused for a moment before giggling sitting back on her haunches she wanted to play with the sand some, but as soon as she did she could feel the weight quickly shift and she went sliding down backwards, fast. Her limbs flailed out as she did, trying to used her claws to hold on to the sand but that failed just as much. Soon she found herself on the bottom with a 'oof' She quickly stood, growling and licking the sand off of her coat. "Stupid sand." She growled before shaking her coat out and turning around, now what was she supposed to do? She would feel stupid if she climbed back up there and did it again. Her best bet? Go back to wandering. She was wondering who else could be maneuvering between these dunes.

So much had happened, much of which Kusuma'nima didn't understand. The little story-teller went about each day trying to learn something new. Something she could use to add to her collection of knowledge.
As her little paws took her wandering through the golden dunes of her pride, her eyes flicked about curiously. What was out and about right now, she wondered. It didn't take her long to spot the dark figure against the dunes. With the other's small size, she realized that the figure was probably the same age as her. Oh good!
Her eyes twinkled lightly as she watched the other go down the dunes. Now that looked like fun, she couldn't help but giggle. Not wanting to seem like she was being rude by staring she called out, "Hello!"

As the young female walked she was hoping that no one noticed her. She paused for just a moment when she though that she was hearing thins and continued a few steps.
Azar jumped slightly when she heard the voice of another, she didn't expect really to see some one else around here, she thought she might but she didn't know that she would. She turned to face who ever it was. She was slightly surprised to see a female just almost as white as her sister. She blinked a few times before she put on a smile. She didn't see so many almost purely colored Firekin around here. she wondered who the other female was. She was about the same age too.
"Hello." She called back starting her trot toward where the other female was, her head held proud. That was one of the main things that matttered to her was making her parents and herself proud, some times she oculdn't help but to carry herself that way in front of people. She grinned and nodded to the other cub, taking in the markings before looking at the red eyes in front of her. "Who are you? She asked with a grin.

As she took in the dark figure curiously, Kusuma'nima couldn't help but to get excited. Maybe she could make some friends, just like what the rest of her siblings were doing. Her tail flicked slightly as she replied, "I'm Kusuma'nima, but feel free to call me Nima. Who are you?"
More importantly she asked, "What exactly were you doing? It looked like fun!"

Azar watched the other female carefully, she was wondering if she had seen her before, she wasn't that sure at all what to think but she could try making friends with her. "My name is Azar! My mommy is No and my daddy is Kidondo." she nodded proudly before nodding "Nima is a nice name."
Then she cleared her throat at the cub's question. "Weellll... I sorta fell." She coughed before looking up. "It is kinda fun to slide down the dunes some times though. Have you ever tried it?" She asked giggling softly at the idea, some times she did it for fun, but when it wasn't for fun she got annoyed.

Looking the other female over, she nodded, "It's nice to meet you Azar!" And Nima was indeed very pleased by this, it wasn't very often she had got out and met others of the pride.
At the question she tilted her head to the side slightly and looked towards the golden dunes. That thought had never crossed her mind before, but now with it in mind she could imagine how it might be fun. Some of the dunes were rather high and the sand was soft....Her eyes brighten towards Azar, "I've never done it before, but it sounds fun when I think about it! Lets go race each other!" She wanted to have some fun.

Azar grinned a little wider as the female talked. She kneaded her paws on the a big, giggling softly She flicked her tail behind her a few times, watching the other lioness. She loved to get out and meet friends.
"It does really look like fun." She giggled looking up at the dune, thinking a little bit before looking at her with an excited look and nodding happily. "YeahYeah! Sounds like fun!" Se bounced around a bit, starting to dash up the side of the dune.
