1. Swiss cheese has holes.

2. The more swiss cheese you have, the more holes you have.

3. The more holes you have, the less swiss cheese you have.

4. Conclusion: The more swiss cheese you have, the less swiss cheese you have.

1. x/x = 1
2. 9/9 = 1
3. x<9; x/9 = 0.xxxxx...
4. Conclusion: 0.99999...=1

0/0 = 1

You mean 0^0?

Zero to the zero is 1 but is also 0. Oww my head hurts....

depends what you're using it for. I think 1 is used more commonly though.

Actually, 0^0 is always 1, because if 0^x were always 0, then 0^-1, or 1/0, would be 0, and we all know that's not true.

Here's a fun one I found on a website:
1. a=b.
2. a^2 = a*b
3. a^2 + a^2 = a^2 + a*b
4. 2*a^2 = a^2 + a*b
5. 2*a^2 - 2*a*b = a^2 + a*b - 2*a*b
6. 2*a^2 - 2*a*b = a^2 - a*b
7. 2*(a^2 - a*b) = 1(a^2 - a*b)
8. Dividing both sides by (a^2 - a*b) gives 1=2.

But in the middle, you're just multiplying ONE side by two, thus making it 1=1 if you multiply BOTH sides by two..

I don't see any multiplying by 2... I see a^2 + a^2 = 2*a^2.
