Christian and Islam believe that we are from the same god. But the different is the concept of god. When the concept of god is different, then the god should not be the same. Christians doesn't accept Allah as god, Islam doesn't accept Jesus as god.
So when Christians and Muslims pray, are we praying to the same god? Or different god?
I need some good explanations so that I can use it for the future.

Christians and muslims both believe in the same God YHWH. They are what is known as abrahamic religions. While they both pray to the same God, they do so differently. Muslims pray directly to God. And while Christians pray to both God and Jesus, they believe that Jesus was the messiah and thus an important part of God.
Some christians believe that all one needs to do is accept Christ as the Messiah to be accepted into heaven. I disagree- Jesus was a model to follow, not a magic idol of easy salvation as he is currently shown.

If we view trough Muslim's view, it would sound like they are praying to a normal human being who was a prophet in Islam.
So definitely I can't use this idea to explain the differences between Islam concept of god and Christians concept of god.
Even though apparently we are believing the same god, we view Christian are praying to our prophet.

dTranquility If we view trough Muslim's view, it would sound like they are praying to a normal human being who was a prophet in Islam. yes, from our view, prophet Isa/Jesus is not a god and just a prophet. We also son't take prophet Muhammad as god, but just a prophet and a role-model. we do not pray to him, but yes, we pray for him..
