Dhar was home. Though the lands looked different, wetter. It had been a long time since he had been here and though much had changed it was still home, he had felt it as he had reached the lands.
He had lingered by the borders, just wandering up and down them not wanting to go into the pride's lands. He could remember the reason they left and he wondered if the lion who his mother had issues with was still here and if he was whether he would have issues with him, being her child. He let out a soft sigh and walked into the lands a little though still not far from the borders. Hopefully he would meet someone here?
He looked around but he couldn't see anyone. Well might as well continue walking, he was bound to bump into someone surely?

"Will you stop squirming?" the voice was obviously female, ringing from deeper in the jungle, sounding almost frustrated.
"I would stop squirming if you'd stop doing that!" the answering call was male, young, and sounded horribly embarrassed for some odd reason.
Aliona had not really even tried to figure out the dynamics of what was going on within her strange little (...large, actually) family, but rather, was content enough to simply accept that while things had changed, maybe they were for the better. She could not really understand what had happened to her father, or why the strange little godling cub was left there in his place, but she was eager to accept him regardless. That was why when her sister had brought the godling cub in, they had both kind of adopted him into their own litters. Even if he WAS a handful to control.
At the moment, only paces away from where Dharba walked, there was a brown splotched female laying on the ground, wrestling with with what looked like a.... grey blue pelted cub with chains and wings, obviously trying to give him a bath, "Oh, hush. I would've finished hours ago if you'd just stopped squirming!"
"This is embarrassing!" whined the cub as he tried in vain to keep his head and scruffy mane out of the female's reach. Both were apparently too occupied to notice Dharba at first.

It didn't take long for the sound of voices to hit Dhar's ears. It calmed him a little to know that there were some around as it seemed a little strange for him to not meet anyone on the borders.
He followed the sound and soon saw the owners of them, a mother and son? Dhar watched for a while fascinated and slightly confused at the sight. He couldn't see the male properly from where he was standing but occasionally he spotted part of him. Bath time? Dhar remembered them. Yep he felt sorry for the youngster.
"Hello?" He spoke softly so not to cause alarm, he didn't want to make them jump and then be cautious and weary of him. He wished them no harm and so tried to look as harmless as he possibly could. Though if this was a mother, she might be protective, well he would have to wait and see.

Ushaufu's head turned as soon as he heard noise from his right, and Aliona let out a triumphant bark of laughter as she leaned over, dragging her tongue over his mane while the godling was distracted, "ALIONAAAAA!" came the subsequent choked whine as the child squirmed again, this time adding his wings to the mix; they beat wildly about, tossing black feathers into the air as he they wrestled.
Despite the fact the cub was ... rather large for a cub, and that Aliona was not particularly the largest lioness in existence (her demi god blood was not predominant, apparently), she was doing a good job of holding him in place. When the child finally relented and stopped struggling, she lapped at his head again, "That's a good boy! Now, stay, geez. This would be so much easier with you not struggling like I'm planning your demise, Ushu," the child grumbled under his breath and turned to glare daggers at the intruder, as if it were HIS fault he was in such a predicament.
Turning her head towards Dhar, the female offered him a smile, "Hallo there!" apparently... she wasn't going to get physically violent with him WHATsoever, if her smile was any indication, "Hm.... never seen you 'round and about," taking into account he wasn't red... well, her alarm bells had not gone off. That, and she was sure that others would come to aid her if she called for help. Thus there was no need to rude, now was there! "You a rogue?" she paused though, squinting her eyes; his physique didn't entirely resemble that of a rogue though... or was he? Maybe she was reading too much into this, "What brings you the the valleys of the Mist?"
"Whatever it is, he can get out. It's his fault you got my mane. Alionaaaaaaa, can you let go of me now? I'm clean! I SWEAR!" the godling squirmed again, though for all answer, the female smirked down at him.
"Not done with you YET, Ushu. Stay still."

Dhar saw the cub finally during all the wiggling and movement. He was shocked with what he saw. He couldn't recall ever seeing a cub like that before, or is he a cub? He looked rather big.
He waited until the female turned around and with the huge smile on her face he allowed himself to relax, she seemed nice enough though the erm... whatever he was didn't seem so nice.
"I am a rogue of sorts. I was born here, a long time ago." He smiled at her as he spoke. His voice was also gentle just in case.
"I came back, hopefully to make this place home once again. We left on erm... dodgy terms though. I must ask, is there a lion called Maji still in charge?" He had to know because if he was he should probably turn and leave now. He ignored the male and couldn't help but laugh as she told him that she wasn't done with him yet. He might ask about what exactly the cub-thing was later.

Still not free from his adoptive er... mother's grasp, the godling huffed again and dropped his head over her forepaws, turning once more to glare long and hard at poor Dhar, even if he really had nothing to do with his predicament.
Apparently, Aliona was well aware the cub was glaring, and placed a paw on his head, now watching the newcomer, "Don't mind Ushu. He's just grumpy. He's harmless though; don't let the wings fool you. He's just a baby," ears perking, she listened his words, her head tilting to one side, "No. I believe Maji might have left... I'm not sure. He might still be around, I don't know," honestly, the last she had seen of the grey pelted male, he'd kept himself near the border, "But no, he's not. Masika returned to us. My mother told me, before she passed away, that she took the throne not long before I was born. The storm king finally graced us with rain after she had stepped up to take the lead."
She smiled softly at him as she motioned deeper into the jungle, "You can probably find her near the dens. I'm sure she'd be rather pleased t see you have returned to us. A lot of old members are finally wandering back. I guess maybe they heard the storms returned? I don't know. I was born after the rains returned," a small shrug of her shoulder indicated it did not matter right now, "I think you're welcome here. Old members are family in a way."

Dhar felt a little uneasy with all the glares from the cub. He was also still somewhat confused about the wings, he had never met a god in any form before.
"Thank you, it is a relief to know he isn't in charge. I will find this Masika then." He smiled at her, he was home and he could stay home. He smiled to himself it did not matter what happened now, he was home.
"I hadn't heard about the storms actually. I assumed they must have returned, the lands look so much better then they did when I left!" He now had a reason as to why it looked different. If the rains had returned maybe the pride had grown in size as well? That would be nice.
"Oh erm, I don't mind to be rude but what is Ushu?" Might as well ask!
