The night was young, just past the time when sunset finished and the night had been plunged into darkness. Hakuna'jina nudged her young along, a grin on her face. "Come on, you get to meet the Sparda Aran'shale tonight!" Just as she'd promised, the crimson lioness was taking her new brood to meet Verge.
Despite the outsider blood in their veins, Hakuna was finding herself proud of the little cubs...even inquisitive little Ellie.Ellie's grin matched her mother's as she trotted beside her, little black paws thumping on the ground. "Yay! We get to meet our big half-siblings father!" Ellie couldn't help but wonder what he looked like. He had to be big. Maybe he was where Nyota got his coloring. Because Mommy certainly wasn't BLUE.

Rincavornon rolled his eyes at his over-eager mother and sister. Like this was a big deal, meeting this male. He better not try any funny business, either. Although most (if not all) of the demons in this pride were mean, cruel, or all kinds of manipulative, it was hard to say if the entire group wasn't being used right now in some way. Demons were sly like that, too.
"Do we have to? I want to go do something fun," he complained. "And meeting our 'big half-sibling's father' isn't exciting," he added, sneering at his sister.

Vito stalked alongside his brother and sister beside his mother, though closer to his sister so that he could better keep an eye on her. He was a protective older brother, and though he cared for his brother too, his attentions were mostly focused on his little sister. To him, she was somehow in need of being looked-out for. Not that he would complain about that. He felt close to his siblings. Just the same, he felt the need to keep them in check; keep the peace. If only for his own sanity's sake.
Vito hardened his eyes at his younger brother, showing his disapproval at his brother's expression towards their sister. "How do you know if it's exciting or not? You haven't even seened him yet." the cub scoffed lazily, haughtily unaware of his grammatical error.
