lots of banks have intrest on them. even islamic ones.
mortgages have intrest on them
INTREST IS HARAM.
it is sooo haram that if one dirum had intrest, it would be like committing zina (adultry) 35 times. this is the how haram it is....
no that you know about it -- stop any type of intrest. giving it, taking it, eating it, signing it.
if you go stop it, then there might be chance allah SWT forgives you -- but that is got to do with you and Allah SWT. if you go back to it knowingly, then you will go to hell FOREVER and never come out hell EVER
if you/you parents have mortgages, then tell them to stop it as soon as possible -- sell your houses to pay it off as soon as possible, if you have a bank, then stop the intrest on that quikly. -- if one penny in all your money is interest then all of your money becomes haram.
just get rid of it --
if you dont believe me then look it up yourself in the Quran, in surath BAKRAH, this is the second surah, near the end of the it.
there are diiferent forms of intrest --
is there was a man with a van of oranges, and he was gonna get 15p per orange from the market, and he didnt know that -- and you came to him and said to him that you will buy all of the oranges for 10p - and you said that its the same price as the market - then that is intrest -- because u never told the van driver the real value of the oranges.
another example is that if you asked someone to give you 20,000 pounds. they meet you in your house. they give u the money then you give the person who gave you money something (such as tea, or food or anything) in that day, and you take it -- that is then interest because it iis something extra for you....
so if they force to eat it -- tell them -- this cup of tea( or whatever) is riba (interest), and i will go to hell forever because of it -- so i will some back next week if you want me to drink the tea...
this is serious ----

I'm telling you, this "Haram" nonsense is just that- nonsense. They are outdated guidelines for communal living which are well beyond their prime or use. Pork is not an abomination, people just didn't know how to cook it and clean it 2,000 years ago. Although extreme capitalism IS a sin, it's not because it's forbidden, it's because people let others suffer for greed.

oh yea when u buy a house or something u get a loan from the bank - then u pay em back with intrest -- U R THE ONE WHO IS GONNA SUFFER BY PAYING BACK EXTRA MONEY TO THE BANK ---
and its haram cuz it benefits them the most -- if no-one put interest on stuff, the no-one would suffer....
its makes in equality in society cuz the poor are going to become poorer, and the rich richer --

Belief should not dictate our lives, especially in things so mundane and human as what clothing to wear or wether or not to use systems of interest.
They are irrelevant to God. They are guidelines for living 1,400 years ago.

Then Islam is wrong. If a manmade construct made to worship God does not change with Man itself (I.E., the creator of the religious system) then it is doomed to fail and turn against God.
