Kari moved slowly through the Kusini woods, the second time she'd been through it since the last time she'd met that male. She was going slowly now, carefully trying to pick out things she might remember on her way back so she wouldn't get as lost as she had been last time. Moving slightly behind her, grumbling the whole way, was a slightly old looking maned wolf, something of a cub-sitter for the girl. Well, often he went off on his own but Kari never minded because he was a big grump anyways.
"Wha'dya need teh fin' out'ere any'ays?" He growled out the question and Kari immediately felt her face become a little embarrassed. "Nothing Ses, nothing." she said softly. "It's just... a really cool place to play, right? And I've never been in the rogue lands! So maybe we should explore a little further today.." She pushed a grin onto her maw and glanced back at him, finally slipping out past the tree line.
In all honesty she was looking for the male, the one who'd first pissed her off immensely and then had comforted her. She'd been very wrong about him, and she'd apologized but... still, she didn't feel like it was enough! And he seemed fun, once you got past those scary scars.
"Tcht, yeh i be'." come the sarcastic reply before he nipped her tail playfully and butted her side as he picked up his pace, now in front of her as his gaze floated around. "Isthis where yeh came the o'er day when I leftya? Meet som'un intrestin?" Apparently he was a sharp one, kari hated that sometimes.

Taku had been acting pretty weird, lately.
Amanzi made a face and continued to sniff around the area. She had followed her brother's scent all the way here and had ended up on the border of a pride land, one she was not familiar with, but inspected it from a distance anyway. And then she saw two figures trot out from the tree line and into the rogue lands. She crouched lower, down to the ground, and followed them, camouflaged by the trees and bushes around her.
The lioness got close enough to the side to overhear their conversation. She didn't know either of the creatures, so she continued to watch the two as they walked further and further into the rogue lands.
She followed them at a safe distance once they were too far away for her to hear them. Her curiosity was piqued and, for some reason, the female lioness seemed familiar to her. How that could be she wasn't entirely sure. But it was.

Kari's ears pressed against her skull and she was glad Ses had come to move in front of her. He probably thought he was protecting her or something, but she guessed she was more bothered by the fact that he'd caught on so fast. "N-no! It's not like that!" She yipped, surprised at how nervous she said, slowing her pace as Sesere glanced over his shoulder with a wide grin on his face.
"Aye, aye! Me thinks yeh di fin' somin intrestin'... mayaps a male then? Ooo, yer papa's no gunna like it.!"
Her tail lashed and she stuck her tongue out at him, swatting at his hind legs as she picked up her pace and shoved him a bit with her paw. "Stoppit!" She groaned, eyes shutting. Great, she was never going to hear the end of this! "Taku is just a friend!" Her voice was raising as her anger and embarrassment was heightening, she had no clue that she and her familiar were being followed.
Sesere rolled his eyes and chuckled softly, shaking his head. Kari was so dense sometimes, he suspected she didn't even get that it was alright for this sort of behavior at her age. "Frien' eh?" But his gaze was flicking around. He was quite a bit older than his companion, and much faster to realize at least something was wrong.
He ignored her slight shove, stumbling to the side before he halted and glanced around, mismatched orbs squinting. He said nothing though, realizing how easily Kari got spooked. His nostrils flared and then he moved his snout to the ground, sniffing around a bit.
He couldn't smell anyone, but the fur on his hackles just wouldn't settle!
Kari had been prancing ahead, looking around less carefully and in a determined manner. Maybe he wouldn't come back here? That gave her heart a little pang, until she realized her companion wasn't with her. She turned around and watched him a minute, nose scrunching as she tried to figure out what he was doing. "What's up?" But her dark eyes had landed on a figure in the distance. She at first only took in the chocolaty brown fur and she felt her heart begin to race a little as she bounded past Sesere.
"Taku!" She chirped, before stumbling a little as she came to a stop, eyes just catching bits of green. Wait that wasn't Taku! So it must have been.... the twin he spoke of?
OOC: if she was hidden let me know and i'll change it!

Amanzi couldn't help but tilt her head and her brow furrowed in confusion. The female had just said...'Taku.' Not her brother, right? But his scent was all over the place. Maybe they were talking about the same lion.
But just as she was contemplating such a thought, she was spotted. Slowly, the lioness rose and made herself visible a bit more, walking towards them from her position. No, she wasn't Taku.
She was his overprotective, suspicious twin sister.
Once she was closer to the two, Amanzi nodded at them and addressed the lion.
"I'm Taku's sister. I followed his scent here because he's been acting strange lately and I wanted to know why. Now I think I figured it out, since you seemed to think I was him." She couldn't help the little smirk that came across her face when she said that. A boy, acting strangely? There had to be something with a girl going on. And she had been right in her thoughts.

When she admitted to being Taku's sister Kari found a smile blossoming onto her face. Well, it seemed the meeting of the family would come a little earlier than she had thought! Though she felt slightly bashful at his sister's words, and she didn't know why. Her tail flicked and she seemed to shift from paw to paw as if she wanted to move closer to the female or maybe try and tackle her in a friendly hug.
"He hasn't been strange to me!" She stated, though she didn't quite get what would justify as strange. "He's wonderful! I've been waiting for him to visit again.. he... so he hasn't told you about me?" Though as she glanced about she caught her maned wolf staring at her with a huge smirk.
"Jessa' frien' my arse.." He muttered before shifting and laying himself down, not intruding on their meeting.
Kari felt further embarrassed but that wasn't fair, Taku was just a friend! "He's my first friend that isn't related to me by blood." She said, her words slightly rushed. "I'm Mng'Kari and you're.." Oh shoot, she'd just had her name in her memory! Taku had said... what had he called his sister? Her nose wrinkled as she seemed to think very hard about it.
