Ok, I was reading an article on new moon at the grocery store, and apparently, it says that near the end of the movie "New MOon", Edward won't be asking Bella to marry her as an exchange for turning into a vampire...instead something else is up Edward's sleeve.
Not only that, Edward won't be appearing as a voice in the movie, he'll be there, exactly. No ghost effect what-ev', or so it says...
I'm sorry, but I'm not looking forward to this movie anymore. Even the actors say they don't like the changes... gonk

They probably put his full body self in there because we were all pissed that we had to go most of a movie without him. Like we were pissed at the book when it first came out.
So we get to see Robert's sexy a** some more? I have no objections. wink

true, but if rob's gonna be there all the time, it won't be such a big impact on the viewers when they actually see the real Edward in Italy, you know, not the hallucinations?
I would have liked it better if Rob was only doing voice...

The same smut that I do not wish to see be acted out with Robert and stewart. mad
This, and the whole Breaking Dawn thing, is exactly why I did not want them continuing after Twilight.
But because the world revolves around money, and because Twilight gave those rich bastards at Summit so much money, the fans no longer have a saying in the matter. They'd continue on with the movies even if we rioted. Because the call of the money would just be too much.

@evil dark kitty
I like your way of putting it...killing twilight...I would be even more ***** up if they cut out the cliff diving scene. Surprisingly...these news aren't even shocking anymore. I'm kinda used to the dramatic changes they do to Twilight now...

I think you're all being rather critical considering none of you have even seen a clip of the movie. You all need to be much more open mined. It's really not a big deal if they change a few things, it's just a movie.
Firstly, I've read a few articles on the internet that say Chris Weitz is trying really hard to stay true to the book. And haven't we been over this before? The movie cannot possibly be the same as the book. It is 100% impossible. So everyone just needs to chill out, because in the the end, I think the other ultimatum will serve the same purpose, It will all be okay in the end.
Next, I read Edward would appear as an apparition. Like a ghost, not completely present. It's not going to be him just walking up to see Bella. He'll be there, but he won't be there. I'm kind of excited, I think the effect will be really interesting.
I think everyone needs to take a deep breath and stop making preemptive judgements. Settle down a little bit and stop thinking they're going to ruin the book and the movie just because they want a load of money. A lot of people here are being really judgmental of the people making the movie and the movie itself. Simmer down and don't worry about it so much, it's just a movie.

@bucket of joy
You say that the movie will not be the same exact as the original, but the problems we are having here is just the one little change they are making, and that's the marriage ultimatum.
We ALL understand that the movie has to change. But, personally, I highly doubt that they'll come up with a better ultimatum than the original one. That alone served as a perfect proposal to end all their problems of their relationships, so that's why most of us are having trouble understanding WHY they are changing that part.
Altough everyone needs to take a deep breather, it's not as if we can't complain about Twilight. Since the series is over, the only thing we can talk about now is the movies, and I'm still very interested in keeping this guild alive no matter what it takes. It's ok for people to be judgemental towards practically anything; who has not ever been judgemental? I would like to hear people's opinions about twilight. Whether negative comments or positive feedbacks, everything needs to be heard.

I couldn't believe that they were gonna change the ending in the movie. If they are going to alter one of the greatest books since the Bible, then they better make it even better!

I think actually having Bella hallucinate, and actually seeing Edward rather than just hearing his voice will make the movie better.
It will make Bella seem more mentally unstable without Edward. I think since its an actualy movie, rather than a book, it needs to be more visually dynamic and with her hallucinating, it does just that.
And I'm sure the whole "marriage exchange" is being left out, to better transition into Eclipse. It will probably come up morseo in Eclipse, atleast that's what I would predict.

you gotta think about this from the directors point of view too.
Some people who have never read the books may not understand what is going on in the movie if they follow everything in the book... cause they have to cut things out in order to make the movie the right length. So they may add things and take out things so that EVERYONE can understand what is going on. We can't all just be mad and swear... which is another thing. It's still better to watch the language on here... there are kids who are younger who venture onto gaia. My sister being one of them... even though she's not 13.
But I am willing to give the movie a chance and see how everything plays out. I just detach myself from the movie and view it as a movie, not a movie based on a book. I found before reading the books and seeing Twilight, it was an alright movie... then I read the book and thought it just sucked at how much was left out and changed. I have to do that with Harry Potter too, cause the movies are really, really good, even though soooo much taken out and changed... but I just try and forget I read the book and enjoy the movie or it's just a waste of money for me.
Just remember, WE ALL KNOW what happens at the end of the series. the movies won't rewrite what happened at the end of Breaking Dawn. it's already been written so we don't need to freak out. I like watching characters be brought to life. That's why I like watching a lot of live action dramas online that are based off of mangas I've read too even though a lot is usually changed in the drama.
