Mawi Mai let out a small yawn before she flicked her hair out of her eyes, grumbling quietly to herself. She looked over noticing that her cubs were still sleeping and so was Aapep. A smile grew on her maw as she leaned over and licked his cheek before standing up and wandering out of the den. She made sure to grab her drum strap in her maw on her way out making sure that the shakers on it was not going to fall off of it, not wanting for it to fall off hit the ground and make a lot of noise.
She carefully stepped over all of the sleeping bodies, wandering over to a tree and slipping her shakers on her tail then on her front paw. A smile on her lips. She was the new Umshayi Wesigubhu proudly taking over her mother's spot, it was always her dream. She felt a little bad that she beat her siblings to the spot, however she still as sure that Taka was fine...
But now that she thought of it she didn't spend that much time with her half siblings. She knew she spent some time with her other siblings however she really didn't know that much about them. Oh god... That wasn't that good was it? Well she was used to only having one sibling for the longest time. She wasn't as open to the ideas of all of these others, especially other sisters. But she was grown up now! She had her own kids! Her own daughter! She had to suck it up, and she was bent on working on that now. Or some time soon.
She wandered over to the watering hole of the pride, leaning over and lapping up some of the water before looking around. What was she going to do today?
