I found this through another furry community... I don't know if it was mentioned before, but a 20ish guy tried to solicit a 15 year old for sex in a panda fursuit. He's now imprisoned awaiting trial.

At least some of them get it right... that this guy's just a deviant and most furries are just people who like anthromorphic animals. But I could see people using this to accuse furries of being predators.

They mention that he's a furry, but that most furries don't have sex with animals, and, in fact, the two guys that turned him in were also furries.

The AG in charge of the panda sex case said that this wasn't a case of him being furry, it was a case of him breaking the law, and seemed to understand that furries normally don't do this...

Nothing wrong with stereotypes, best not to frett over it. I thought something was wrong with my internet explorer...which reminds me I need to get google Chrome. I could just set my zoom to 50%

Yea, I was pointing out the fact that they specifically said that it's not "normal behavior" for furries. Most people assume it is, and most news articles along these lines don't do anything to dispel the myths. It's a nice change. 3nodding
