But where the ******** is CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC/MSNBC, Fox and Sky News? This story is as big as the Polish Solidarity movement or the Chinese Student Democracy movement. Yet no one is covering it except the web.

Last news I got was that even the Iraqi government cannot certify the outrageous election results and tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets in Tehran.

The government has curtailed all power and telecommunications with few exceptions. Some internet and satellite communications are happening, and tons of videos are posted to YouTube.

One less dictator for the world to deal with. Or at least we can hope and pray that the people will have their way.

They're busy reporting on the white supremacist that killed a guard at the Holocaust ******** assholes.
Yet they practically, nay, fully ignore all the shootings in the 'hoods.

It's sad when you have to decided where to get your news from, government controlled media or biased and amateur internet resources.

You make it sound like you don't think the government controlled media is biased.

BBC is government controlled, and is widely held as one of the most neutral media outlets available.

What exactly happened, anyway? I don't hear much even if it IS in the media.

Compare that to the majority of other government controlled media.

From what I heard the incumbent was declared winner with 60% of the vote while the people claim BS on it.

With things like Fox News being private, I can't actually agree with that...

Oh, that same bullshit again? When will people learn that rigging elections doesn't fool anyone?

If these guys are acting, I'd love to know their motivation. From the way the press is ignoring the street fighting and eating the press release coverage from the government, this is a massive failure to recognize that all people want their votes to matter.

Well, it's the same thing here in Washington State. Christine Gregoire-who has rigged the polls too many times to count-continues to win against [better] Dino Rossi. No one does anything about it, they don't care. They follow and nod their heads with stupid looks on their faces.

It best not be. Or if it is, Haj best wait until I'm back in the States. If I get rerouted to the Iraq/Iran border, I'm going to get upset.

As for the media's lack of presence, what else can you expect? I remember when during the inauguration, every last media station was focused on "What will Michelle Obama be wearing to the after-party?". It was ******** ridiculous. The can't even focus on aspects of our own presidential elections; why would they be reporting Iran's?

It seems that now that enough people seem to care, the mainstream media is covering the soon to end protests. The army is gearing up to do what they do best. Suppress the revolution.

Truth be told, the opposing candidate was no prize winner. Evil is evil. And neither primary candidate was really worth spilling blood over.
