We missed the tank crushing but I saw the end result!
M60s crush Grand Prixs flat as a pancake!
As they should be.
I took pictures of the whole tank on top of the car but it was too bright and they didn't turn out good.
The next one up looked like an Olds, but it got to 2,000 degrees celcius and we decided to leave. There was also a parade before the crushing so it would have taken an hour just for the crushing to commence, and that long in direct sunlight would have been my demise.
A bit disappointed, the show has gotten smaller and apparently the 88th(?) is moving to some fort or base in Wisconsin.
Museum will still be there but, with few people working and I would guess that some, if not most of the cooler attractions, will go with them.
Saw the group of reenactors there too.
Americans made a short debut, last saw them by the German Halftrack, but they disappeared.
Germans were still there, I'm guessing that they tied up the Americans and shoved them in the back of the half track.
They did however lack the man with the BMW motorcycle.
That was sad too, hope nothing bad happened.
I asked them and they said they were expecting.
sad The German reenactors were hilarious.
Especially the officer.
Got to hold their MG42, would post pics but, not on my camera.
All I had was my crappy camera phone.
