If you haven't heard of Gothic Charm School it's a blog run by the Lady of Manners Jillian Venters.

She's recently released a book titled "Gothic Charm School: An Essential Guide for Goths and Those Who Love Them". And, has also started a video series on YouTube in parallel to her book coming out.

So far she has three episodes posted.

Episode One: What is Goth?
Episode Two: The Gothic Lifestyle
Episode Three: Dark Decorum

She also was interviewed on a Seattle news station.

I also hear she's going to be at San Diego's Comic Con signing books if any of you are going this year. 3nodding

I love this book, truely one of the best books I have ever bought... and I have a few friends whom I need to loan it to (one needs it... the other is an elegant gothic aristocrat/victorian style goth, and would simply fall in love with it)

I love gothic charm school. I stumbled accross the blog about two weeks ago, by a fortunate accident. A few days later, I picked up the book. I think it's really a must-read. Lots of good advice in many areas, applying to both goths and non-goths. It covers loads, from obscure stuff to things that ought to be common sense, but often aren't.

She knows a lot of things, but again this is just a layer of the subculture.
There is much much more.

I can't get this book in my country either sad And ordering it from the US would be too expensive. But I also like her site. She's very charming in the videos and I like her articles there too.

To those who can't get the book, don't fret; pretty much everything in the book is in the website, just in a less pretty format.
