• After her mother perished and her brother left, she met Triv'an and joined the Unity Walkers with him; there, they had six daughters.

• Her favored daughter, Tarajia, left the family after a run-in with their uncle Banji. Hasana became depressed. Still, her and Triv'an had two more litters and adopted a leopard cub.

• The Mtaishi eventually disbanded and Hasana took ill. She pleaded with her vengeful daughter, Ohahira, to stop pursuing her sister Tarajia and told her of a seer vision in which she finds peace with a golden-eyed lion, though she fails to say if they're male or female before she passes.

Hasana started to look her age toward the end. From birth, she had strongly resembled a zebra. A small lioness for having a Pridelander father.

Motherly and fragile, Hasana learned too late too much of a good thing, even love, could fracture a family unit. She died beside her daughter Ohahira, using her last breath to plea for peace one last time.

Bandele's father was a rogue. His mother had two other sons, and he took helping to raise his brothers seriously. Under his pride's beliefs, he was said to be the rebirth of a warlord. This claim led him to an interest in subjects such as military, war, and combat in general. He trained hard from a young age and well into his later years.

His brothers were grown by time his pride was forced to disband. Bandele roamed the Roguelands aimlessly until he meet Pulan. He has served as her protector ever since, providing her safety in exchange for a sense of duty.
