In the Quar'an, there are many references to the other communications of Allah. For example, the Torat, the Gospels, and the Psalms. Does any one else read these communications of Allah? If so what do you think? Please include which book.

I have a Bible in my hand. But I know I'm not ready to go trough all in the Bible. But I will use it as a reference to support my statement.

Yeah, I haven't gone through it all either. The text is so tiny. sweatdrop It's interesting though, you could find all the details to certain events that are referenced in the Quar'an.
I tend to look at the books this way:
Torat- The Beginning and Laws Gospel- Kindness and Compassion Quar'an- The Final Chapter, Ethics, and Lifestyle

Well, that sounds like we have to compile everything to become one, and it's like a complete religion of the mix. But Qur'an is completed with everything, from laws to life.

dTranquility Well, that sounds like we have to compile everything to become one, and it's like a complete religion of the mix. But Qur'an is completed with everything, from laws to life. That is true. The other books were only a prelude to the great Qur'an. I only use the others for references, like if I want to know the full story of a particular event mentioned in the Qur'an.

Oh really? I've come across the knowledge of 4 books in multiple references, Including the Qur'an. How do the Psalms not qualify?

Well, the gospels do include Allah as a character : he tempts Jesus several times - in the desert, and then in the garden of Gethsemane - and is then crushed under His heel at the end. It's a thrilling read. A nice piece of non-fiction to complement the AU-crackfic-written-by-a-monkey nature of the Qur'an.
