Glitches
Final Smash
1. Giga Jiggly~On Eldin Bridge when the bridge is about to reappear and Jigglypuff(you) has the Smash Ball, jump in right when the bridge starts to come in and use the Final Smash. When the bridge returns during your Final Smash, you will be forced upward still huge, if another player is Yoshi they can eat you multiple times to make you even bigger
2.Super Saiyan~On Eldin Bridge as the bridge returns, jump in and use your Final Smash, some characters will come out still glowing but will use their normal B attack instead of Final Smash, I've done it with Marth and Wolf, this wears off when you get ko'd, the Smash Ball will not return while in this state
3.Ike Phase~If you are behind a wall Ike can hit you with his Final Smash, don't think you can hide
4.Unfair end on Corneria~While either Fox, Falco, or Wolf is using their Final Smash on Corneria, if you are metal and right behind the top fin, get the hell out of there, you WILL be shot down through the ship if they ram you into the fin, unable to recover
5.Quite Pushy~If Fox, Falco, or Wolf pushes you on a cage created stage that the walls are only a block thick, you have a high chance of being shoved through the wall, they can push you through any one block wide wall on any created stage
6.Lots of F****** items~When Kirby is using his Final Smash, Fox can shoot his lazer from a safe distance, or Olimar can keep pulling up pikmin from a safe distance, this will make the Golden Hammer, Hearts, Hammer, Clock, and a few other items duplicate past their normal limit
7.Launch Ramp~On a created stage with drop through slopes that do not connect to a ledge, hide behind the slope at the right distance when link or toon link has the Smash Ball, when they use it they will go up the ramp and go flying, if the ramp is at the very edge of the map, link will stop and unable to recover fall to his death, and toon link will instantly k.o.
8.Mama Luigi~Put Captain Falcon by himself on a team(blue), Luigi by himself(green), and Peach and Mario together(red)((Mario can be substituted for a few characters)) get Mario, Peach, and Luigi in one spot, then use Captain Falcon's Final Smash on the other character's last lives(they need to all die at the same time and end the match), when it goes to the winner screen, Peach and Luigi should be in the same spot. Say hello to Mama Luigi
9.Ice Climber Animation lag~when the Ice Climbers get hit with either Marth's or Captain Falcon's Final Smashes(and maybe a few other characters) their hit, jump, and landing animation(like the smoke and light you see when you hit them) will lag
10.Ice Climber pushy Final Smash~On some cage created stages, the Ice Climbers Final Smash can push people through the walls
11.YOU FAIL~I'm not entirely sure how to do this one, I've only done it once and have never seen it on the internet, when someone doesn't do the minigame on WarioWare and they are big(I think), ko them with Marth's Final Smash, when they come back they should have a giant X over them that takes up nearly the whole screne
12.Giga Bowser's weakness~if Giga Bowser gets hit by a smart bomb or by meowth or the excite bikes as they come out, he will freeze until the attack stops, there might be more items that also do this
13.Warioman's weakness~his weakness is team healers, hit him with one and he can get hurt or even k.o.
14.Ike's Nothing Final Smash~fighting the Ice Climbers, throw Nana back and use your side smash to k.o. Popo then Final Smash Nana, she will disappear and Ike will be hitting nothing
Other
1. Sonic's Teleport~Use Sonic's Side B attack on a ramp on a created stage, the ramp must not be connected to anything else, he will go straight trought the air instead of going to the ground, when he hits somebody he will teleport the same distance up that he went straight, on some created stages he can go through ceilings and even get trapped
2.Pikachus in Space~do Pikachu's Up B right when you get hit by a poison mushroom, you will shoot up very high and take a minute or more to come back down
3.Ike teleport~on a created stage with a straight one space tall cage with a 2 block wide hole in the middle and drop through floors on the ceiling, do Ike's Up B in a certain place in the cage and he will teleport to the opening
4.Wario Bike Crash~if Wario goes over a set pitfall with his bike, he will be launched, if there is no wall to stop him he will k.o.
5.Wario Bike Crash 2~if Wario does a wheely on his bike and hits the slope behind the middle wall on Temple, he will teleport straight up in the air almost as high as the Pikachus in Space glitch
6.Wario Bike Hopping~on a stage the same as the Ike teleport glitch, ride the bike in the cage and do a wheely, he will try to go on the drop through platforms and will go inside and outside the ceiling repeatedly
7.Into the wall~if there is a stage with drop through floors on the ceiling you can sometimes glitch into the cieling, if you leave an opening you can get stuck in the opening
8.Diddy Freeze~grab Link after he throws his boomerang with Diddy, when the boomerang comes back Diddy will be knocked off Link and stuck in the "let go" position
9.Dedede Freeze~using Ike on Corneria, grab Dedede at the middle, he will freeze and be unable to escape the grab, this can go on infinitely unless you throw him or someone else hits him
10.Gray Fox Infinity Fall~If you have a stage with a large hole in the middle and get Gray Fox to jump into it so many times he will fall infinitely, not attacking just falling, the assist trophy will not return the rest of the match
11.Samus no hit Bowser~if you don't time Samus's grab attack right with Bowser you can't hit him, you'll just have to throw him
12.A very nice try~throw down an unira with Pit, then use his Down B right next to it, get Falco to shoot him at thsi point, there will be a light inbetween Pit and the unira, and Pit will keep saying "nice" until the unira leaves, at that point he'll say "try" and be KO'd with about 75% damage from 0%
13.Pit Side B lag~when Pit hits some sub space enemies and some bosses, with his Side B their movements will lag during the attack
14.The new black hole glitch~on a created stage with a small space with a small drop through floor is, make somebody big like Dedede or Bowser stand there, then throw alot of hot heads there, this is the new black hole
15.Ike's Super Quick Draw~have somebody use Dedede use his B while standing on the edge of the stage, make Ike use his Side B into Dedede, Ike will go flying off and k.o.
16.Kirby Super Slam~Kirby's up throw will make you land on the top floor if all the floors above you are drop through, this also works with Meta Knight's up throw
17.Falco's frozen lazer~shoot Falco's lazer at the slope behind the middle wall on Temple and it will freeze if done at the right distance
18.Wolf hates Excite bike~if wolf does his Side B right when the Excite Bike assist opens he will be frozen untill all the bikes come out
19.Dedede death slam~if Dedede down throws you on Big Blue on the cars there is a chance that you will go through the cars and hit the road, ko'ing, some other characters may be able to do this as well
20.Snake recovery fail~grab snake out of the cypher then don't attack, he shouldn't be able to recover again until he lands, if he goes off the edge he will ko
21.Uber Box of death~if 2 rolling crates collide, one of them may not brake and go flying around at extreme speeds
22.Soccer bomb~get all 5 possible soccerballs at once in a match in one place then hit them, it should do around 150%+
23.Kirby The Wonder Rock~do Kirby's Down B on the right edge of pictochat (doesn't work on the left, i don't know why) he will sitt there with stars flying out in every direction as if he was landing repeatedly, this will make the whole screen shake
24.Lucario Up B fail~if Lucario does an up B and hits the ground (like you shoot towards the floor and hit it) you have to jump up and land again before you can do another up B off the ground, i don't think it stops you from using up B entirely but it safer to just not hit the ground with it period
25.Volcano~use snakes down smash (smash not B) to plant a land mine and have Dedede walk close enough to not be blown up, but as close as possible, then use Dedede's nuetral B, the explosion will keep going as long as you hold B, it looks like a volcano
26.Ike's Sword Paradox~if somebody grabs a Timer just as Ike uses Up B(Aether) his swords image of flying up will stop above Ike's head still spinning, but Ike will complete the move and land still holding his sword.

|
Tricks
Basics
(sadly they have removed L-canceling in Brawl crying , please don't ask me about it)
Wavedashing~wavedashing is useful because you go faster than a normal dash, to perform a wavedash quickly hit the control stick to run and hit it again repeatedly, it is harder to do with some characters, the easiest I know are Marth and Meta Knight. The fastest wavedash is Sonic making it from one side of FD to the other in 3.5 moves
Galloping~galloping is a version of wavedashing that adds an attack to the move, when you hit the stick hit the A button right then, the timing is hard and most characters will stop and do a smash attack if not done right, easiest character I've done it with is Mario or Ganondorf. The fastest gallop is Snake making it across FD in 2 moves.
Item catch~when an item is thrown at you either press A or do an air dodge, practice with your friends throwing one of Link's bombs back an forth. Very useful in a sudden death to catch the falling Bob-ombs.
Edgeblocking~run at the edge and as you fall of quickly push back, if done right you should instantly go from standing on edge to holding onto ledge
Recover~as you hit the ground after being attacked hit the shield button and if timed right you should do some sort of handspring or something and land on your feet, works when being thrown against a wall, while recovering it counts as a dodge so you won't be hit.
Footstool Jump(Head Jump)~when directly over someone hit jump, you will jump off their heads, if they are in the air they will fall a little, making it harder to recover, you can headjump 4 times in a row, each time you get less air.
Pratfalling(Gay Tripping)~not a trick really just a failure, it happens from dashing too much.
Perfect Guarding~To perform a perfect guard hit the shield at the right time of the enemy's attack, their attack should stop right there, unless it's a really powerful attack you can usually grab them right after you do it. the perfect guard won't protect against a perfect neutral B tip from Marth.
Chain Grabs(grab then grab again)
Mario~Mario has a small chain grab that is done with either his up throw or down, it doesn't last very long and pretty much only works on noobs.
Luigi~same as Mario.
Peach~forward throw then dash and grab again, works for a little bit.
Diddy Kong~throw down, turn around, run and grab. lol
Ganondorf~throw down run forward and grab again. Works very short time.
Samus~throw down and grab again, bout two or three times I'd say it can be done
Ice Climbers~Throw forward run and grab. or grab hit with other Ice Climber run and grab and repeat, this is very hard to do but works a long time.
Kirby~grab throw down grab again, works like twice from 0%
Meta Knight~throw forward run and grab, or throw down run and grab, both last about the same time which is very long.
Dedede~the most powerful chain grab, throw down while facing a wall and grab again, and repeat, this can keep going past 999% lol
Falco~throw down, run forward grab
Wolf~throw down run forward grab repeat, lasts a medium time, lasts longer with a wall
Captain Falcon~throw down just like Ganondorf's. or throw forward run and grab, this one works a good time
Squirtle~throw forward run and grab, and repeat
Lucario~forward run and grab, or down, but down doesn't last as long
Marth~throw down, turn around, grab and repeat, or throw forward run and grab, lasts medium amount of time unless timed right
Snake~second best chain grab, down throw, block if they try to get up, then grab if they roll forward run and grab, if back turn around run and grab, can last an infinite time if you read their movements good enough
Effective Grab Combos
Ganondorf~throw down (at enough damage so they bounce), jump and front air them
Toon Link~dash attack(this usually trips them) grab, down throw, jump up and back air and jump again and do another back air, then up B
Samus~throw up then up B
Pit~throw forward then Side B
Kirby~throw up then up B
Meta Knight~chain grab forward til they are off the edge, jump and forward air, jump again, repeat until they ko then use his side B to recover
Olimar~not a combo but Olimar's up throw with the purple pikmin is the most powerful in the game
Falco~down throw then down B, works at low damage percents
Captain Falcon~throw down(so they bounce) jump up and SUPER KNEE them
Pikachu~throw up then down B, best at high damage percents to get a ko
Marth~throw down and smash in the direction you go, it will almost always land a tip if thrown at 0%, for a special combo throw Zelda with a back throw and tip her, then grab her and do a down throw tip, this will put her at about 47%
Ike~throw up or down then up B
Ness~throw up and nuetral B
Lucas~same as Ness
Snake~throw up then up smash
Specific Character Tricks
Mario
Capeboost~while in the air the cape can give you one little boost forward to help recover
Meteor Smash~forward air, hit the top of their head halfway through the punch, it should spike them
Final Smash Tips~use it from one side of the stage facing the other, it's most effective that way
Luigi
SuperUppercut~hit them with an up B directly will ko around 80%
Misfire~side B can launch with full power at random
Head in a wall~it's just funny, do a side B into a wall, try it on Shadow Moses
SuperKick~Luigi's taunt kick becomes more powerful in the Negative Zone of Luigi's Final Smash
Up B to Infinity~with two Luigis keep up B'ing each other far away enough to land without super uppercutting, they will keep going up, until one kos, or infinitly if there is a ceiling
Meteor Smash 1~do Luigi's down air over their head for a meteor smash, out of all the meteors i've done, this is one of the hardest to actually land, beside's Lucas's back air
Meteor Smash 2~when they are grabbing the edge, but not right when they grab it(cause they're invincible), use Luigi's kick taunt, it's a pretty good spike
Final Smash Tips~try to use it in the middle, if it's a large stage like Temple, get them to one side and use it
Peach
Floating~hold the jump button after jumping or while on the ground hit down and hold the jump button, Peach will float, and she can do it for a good time, this makes her one of the top ariel combatants in Brawl, or just a reeeeaaaaallly annoying B***H to KO
Random Turnips~there are turnips with different faces, one of them does huge damage and looks sick, also you can pull up saturns
Final Smash Tips~use it while they're all on the ground, nuff said
Bowser
Directional Fire~you can change the direction Bowser breaths fire up and down by moving the stick, can also be done with Charizard
Suicide KO~use a side B close to the edge and you might pull them down with you, usually wins if both characters have 1 life instead of going to sudden death
Final Smash Tips~use the front smash frequently, avoid smart bombs and other things that will freeze you(as mentioned in glitches above)
Donkey Kong
Donkey Combo~who doesn't know this, fully charge his neutral B, side B them into the ground and unlease charged B
Suicide KO~grab them at high damages, and use the forward throw to carry them, then jump off, throw them forward right at the bottom or else you'll just die and they might be able to recover
Easy KO~on a created stage where there is a floor at the very top, grab them and use the forward throw to carry, then jump and throw up, it's an instant KO from 0%
Meteor Smash 1~down air right above them, is a powerful spike
Meteor Smash 2~front air, hit the top of their head
Final Smash Tips~use in the middle, if it's a bigger stage like Temple, get them to one side and use it. The more you hit A with the rythm the more powerful the soundwaves get, practice getting the rythm right in training
Diddy Kong
Face Rape KO~when the enemy is about 110% throw them off, while they are trying to recover use Diddy's side B to grab on until your at the bottom, then hit the stick up, you will jump up and hit them down and you can then recover, but they won't
Perfect Peanut~watch what Diddy does while charging his neutral B, it is fully charged when he puts his hand on his head, release it immediatly at this point or else it will backfire
Early Combo~run at them and use his dash attack, right after that use his up smash, it works at lower % but is effective
Meteor Smash 1~down air directly over them, a powerful spike
Meteor Smash 2~while using your up B, release it directly over somebody and it should spike them
Final Smash Tips~when using Diddy's Final, go the opposite direction you want to shoot, and when the Final is over, do not be off the side of the stage, you won't be able to recover.
Yoshi
Run Down KO~when your enemy is off the side with a moderate to high amount of damage, use Yoshi's down air(make sure it's perfect) and you will keep them from moving as you fall down, when the move is over hit the jump button and you should head jump them, they should die right after the head jump, if not they probably won't be able to recover, use up B to recover immediatly after you head jump them
Egg Throw Boost~yoshi's up B can be used to give a little boost on the first throw while in the air, the rest will just stop you a little, it can be used repeatedly in the air. even if you can't recover, keep using his up B, maybe something will ko your opponent before you do(like a walking bob-omb)
Meteor Smash~front air, make it hit the top of their head
Final Smash Tips~hit them with a fireball(any button) and they should go up, just keep flying up and using the fireball
Wario
Bike Wheelie~just push the stick up while using Wario's up B
Bike Taunt~while doing Wario's side B, hit any taunt button, always the same taunt, you still attack by running into them, doesn't work when doing a wheelie
Bike Jack~if there is more than one wario(ex: you and another), and the other uses their bike and falls off, you can ride their bike
God Fart~wait til Wario is flashing a orangy yellowish color to use his down B, it does i think around 40% and has alot of knock back. Do not use near the top of the map, you can KO yourself
Eat Things~you can eat items, bigger ones take longer, exploding ones do damage but no knock back
3 Recoveries~once the fart is fully charged you have 3 recoveries, first use side B for the bike then jump, then hit down B for the fart, if you don't get close enough to the edge, use up B for one final boost
Final Smash Tips~WarioMan is invincible to everything but team healers(see warioman's weakness in glitches), he is much faster including his attack lag, so he's bad. and because of the speed boost, you can fly by using his ariel attacks. WARNING: USE BIKE AT OWN RISK!!!
Link
Shield~if you stand still, or crouch, link's shield will block projectiles, try it (that's his actual shield, not his guard shield)
Boomerang~Link's boomerang can bring people closer to you, even in air, perfect for getting the edge from someone who's closer, also it doesn't damage on the way back so if it gets reflected after a certain distance, no damage
Grab~Link is one of the few characters with a mid-range grab, make use of it as often as possible, but not too much cause there's bad wait time if it misses
Spin Charge~you can charge Link's up B attack by pressing up and holding B, only works while on the ground and not in air
Bomb Jump~Link can do 2 up Bs in a row, pull out a bomb(down B) and hold onto it, when off the side up B when the bomb is flashing, you'll go up, blow up, then be able to do another up B
Carry Up~if you hit somebody perfectly with Link's up B, in the air, you will carry them up, good if you're close to the topside of the map
Double Smash~Link has 2 forward smash attacks, just hit A after doing the first, or if using a GC controller, just C-stick both, only one will hit
Up Smash From Hell~if you've fought a lvl 9 Link cpu, you might realize that when you're in the air, he follows you around and keeps up smashing you, that's cause it's such a great move, do it yourself in the same way when the time is right, I gaurenteen that you'll do some damage and piss off noobz
Meteor Smash~Link's down air is a very powerful meteor smash, be careful though cause if you miss you may die(like you need to be at the middle or top of the sceen to miss without dying)
Final Smash Tip~get them at a good range, close to mid, try to get people together in one spot for most effectiveness, for smash fail look at Jump Ramp in the glitches section, Link's Final is in the top 5 for one hit Finals, I personally put him at 5, he shares it with Toon Link(since their Final is the same)
Zelda/Sheik
Recovery~Zelda/Sheik have an odd recovery because they teleport, my suggestion is that you practice getting your direction right, also never tell it to go up while next to a wall, you'll just reappear in the same spot. Zelda's does damage after teleporting, Sheik does before
Sheik Recovery Trick~if you teleport with Sheik's up B while standing next to a blast crate, the crate will instantly explode and it won't harm Sheik, even if you teleport to the exact same spot you were in (unless there are multiple crates)
Transformation Trick~if on a stage with water, jump over the water and use the down B transformation, you will sink but not drown and the others can't reach you. (do not use on Ice Climber's stage)
Sheik Chain Recovery~like Link's clawshot, Toon Link's hookshot, Samus's plasma whip, Olimar's pikmin, Ivysaur's vine whip, or even Lucas's snake, Sheik can use her side B chain attack to grab the ledge, this doesn't count as a recovery so if you miss you can still use up B
Sheik Down Needles~Sheik throws her needles down at an angle while in the air, this makes a useful edge guarding technique
Zelda's Sweetness~Zelda's forward, back, and down aerial attacks all have sweet spots that have massive knock back, practice finding exactly where that sweet spot is, the down one only works in the air
Sheik's Double Hit~any battering weapon that Sheik picks up does a double hit smash, if you have things like the beam sword set, go for them as fast as you can (the bat doesn't swing twice)
Meteor Smash~Zelda's down air is a meteor smash if it hits the sweet spot, it is almost as powerful as Ganondorf's down air
Final Smash Tips~the only thing I have to say is first switch to Sheik, while Sheik, the Final has more damage and knock back. second, line them up and fire away. the speed of this attack is nearly impossible to dodge.
