I saw on the commercial him giving the dictator salute in that military academy thing. That alone was enough for me. heart
But I probably won't see it until it comes out on DVD, and even then it's only a maybe. I enjoyed the commercial enough as it is. razz

Seeing as my goat 'sona is Kazakh... im not a big fan off that actor... what with the whole Borat movie... terrible representation of Kazakhistan.

Krissim Klaw Selene Aries Yeah, no, not my kind of film. Ditto, I see enough people acting like jerks/idiots in real life, so there is no need to pay to watch one. He's not acting like a jerk. He's funny because it exposes American insecurities about foreigners and gays, and how much we tolerate ignorance to try and seem nice.

My definition of a jerk would include someone that tries to gain laughs at another persons expense. Really though the movie just looks like a really bad attempt at playing the whole 'dumb blonde' routine.

I suppose it's making fun of Americans in general, how we're so biased in our opinions that we firmly believe in.

Get it already, it is satire. rolleyes Knew that from the beginning, still very low brow humor.
Humor that relies on shock value and the reactions of other people responding to someone purposely being offensive is not very funny to me.
