Huh, that moving shroud seems to kind of get in the way of the bolt.
No doubt it bends farther, but really, it's going to be on your hand.

Wonder if a bent bolt will help it.

Also, not really something I would do to a Mosin.

It's basically taking the standard action, and then mounting it into a new stock, with either a new, long trigger, or a trigger that actuates the standard trigger.
