Do you have an idea for a cool shop event, themed flatsale, raffle, etc... If so, post here!
Ideas that I have:
Dinosaurs like ones in the new Ice Age 3D movie
Skittles Crazy Core (with Gaia SCC accessories)
dogs from the UP movie

Oh, what about movies? The colorist could choose their favorite movie or two and do characters from them or soquili based on certain themes? I'd love to see some from Domino, 300, Sin City, etc. I think it could be fun to see the colorist's takes on different movies.

Personally, not a huge fan of the Ice Age franchise. I think there are a lot of fun themes that could be done for a Soq event.
I still like a "What I did my Summer Vacation" theme - with soquili themed after different regions of the world - from accessories/horse-fitted costuming to native wildlife.

I think that music genres would be a good idea for an event. There could be general soqs like "Rock" that branches out into Punk, Heavy Metal, etc. and so on. The edits on these could represent the stereotypes of each music franchise. (ie a "rocker" soq would have excessive piercings, spikes, etc.) :3

Nuclearity I think that music genres would be a good idea for an event. There could be general soqs like "Rock" that branches out into Punk, Heavy Metal, etc. and so on. - Dinosaurs would be neat, but for the love of god not based on Ice Age >.>
- Reptiles/Snakes in general = win
- Insects - colorwise many are quite beautiful.
- I second Nuc's idea about music genre
- Lolitas - these are immensely popular and I know there are different "kinds" of them. Candy, goth, nurse, etc

Nuc beat me to the music genre idea. xD (But I think a Grindcore Soq would be epic.)
EDIT: Maybe some of the popular bands from the genres as well as the genres themselve could be done too?
Like.. Emo Soquili, and to go along with it, there would be an AFI Soquili.
