This is for anyone who strolls in here and wants an up-to-date RP. Your character will be whatever your avatar looks like when you post. If you change very often, perhaps you can take a picture of your avatar and place it within your post. When you do change, you can offer and explanation in character as to why that happened.
The setting is the city, present-day.
There's a humongous arcade in the center of the town. It's the most popular hangout spot.
There's also a center for homeless and impoverished to beg and scrounge for money. It's not often visited much anymore, but there's the occasional straggler who wanders in to find some currency.
There's a large park with trees, two fields of grass, and winding sidewalks throughout. There's an elaborate fountain at the center, great for photographs
There's also an enclosed and protected natural environment of a thick forest full with vibrant wildlife, and a clearing where some often sneak to to duel with others.

Diff strolls through the park, enjoying the solitude with her young panda. "I love nature at night. Don't you?" She finds an inviting tree. She looks at Puff. "You wanna?" She smiles at him. "Let's go. After you." She picks him up and places him on a branch, and as he begins to climb, places her wand and dagger in her stockings and follows. She reaches a high and sturdy branch and rests a bit. "The sounds of nature prevail over the city better at night." She closes her eyes and listens to the crickets, toads, and nocturnal city creatures and lets out a sigh of contentment. " I could stay here all night. I could sleep here, Puff. I should have been born a wood elf." Boy, if my parents ever heard me say that. I mean, I understand that the grey elves are a great and noble race, but we're all elves; so aren't we all great? What's their issue? I'm proud of who I am, but I can appreciate the traits of the other elves, too. They're unreasonable." She lets out another sigh, this time of hopelessness. "If I have to hear another speech about how great grey elves are over every other race, I may just find a woodelf or someone like that to love, just to piss them off!" She pauses. "I don't think I'm going home tonight, Puff. I think we will sleep here tonight." She rests her head and closes her eyes once more. "This feels more like home than Draenok."

Diff wakes up in the tree, startling a sparrow that had been on the same branch, now flying away. "Puff, wake up. I think we need to go home before my parents send out a searching party..."They climb down the tree and begin walking in the direction of home. She hears the various beeps, whirs, and ca-chings of the arcade. "... but maybe we'll just spend a few minutes in the arcade first." She smiles innocently at Puff, he smiles back and starts walking.

"Oh, crap!" she exclaimed, "It's been hours! I've been missing almost two days now! Puff, why did you say anything?" He looks at her with a non-chalant look. "Ohhh. I know it's my fault, but you coulda tapped my leg or something." He repeats a pawing action he'd been making for the past two hours. "oh," she peeped, "That's what that meant? Oh, Puff, I thought those were just love taps!" She sighs," well, let's get on anyway. No matter whose fault it is--" Puff lets out a "hmph" and Diff quickly retorts with a sharp but playful "Hush," a smile forcing its way on her face. "No more distractions, Puff. We're going home this time. Besides, it's probably not a problem since no other elves or creatures have come swooping down to find me. And it's not like this is my first time..." They start on again toward home. Man, I hope something or someone comes along to distract me. That way it won't be my fault for never returning home. Puff would definitely be upset if he knew I'm trying to run away.
Boy, I hope someone notices this to join in right about now. neutral

Sachiko stands near the glistening fountain, watching the water ripple intently. She had been wandering about this city for a few days now, unsure of where she was, or for that matter, much of who she was. From the contents of her messenger bag she could pick out her name, but no adress or contacts. She glanced back at the people leaving the arcade and decided to follow them. Perhaps they will lead me somewhere familiar...
