Intro and Story
It's just after the human race has finally ended. All that seems to be left are cats and dogs. After living peacefully together when the humans around, the two species decide it is best to keep that peace but to live in different territories. The cats live in the Dark Night pack while dogs live in the Blaze pack. These packs are separated into little sub packs and have their own territories on either side of the mountains. It has now been fifteen years since these packs were made and the separation of cats and dogs was finalized by the elders. Though they are at peace, they know that they are still enemies so when a dog crosses the mountains to get to the elder cats, trouble is started. The warrior cats take the dog as prisoner and talks of war start startling everyone, cat and dog. The elders are the oldest and wisest of each specie. There are only three on each side and as an elder dies, another is voted into their place. The elders rule all of the separate packs within their own. It is their word that everyone lives by. The cat elders know the most about healing and they pass it on to their apprentices. The dog elders know the most about hunting and scavenging. They, like the cats, pass this knowledge onto their apprentices. The apprentices are not next in line for being an elder but they do have more of a chance of becoming one. These apprentices are the ones that teach the others. They are picked as kittens or puppies. No one knows how or why they are picked but they do not argue with the elders.

Bio: From when she was a pup she was chosen to be a hunter for her form and from her breed, when she grew she showed fighting abilities and she was shown into the ways of fighters, she now stands with two ranks because the dog pack is short both fighters and hunters, no matter what she is sworn to help her pack in both ways
Personality: Quiet and kind of a loner, once you know her shes hyper and happy, she is random and silly sometimes short temperedbut she will defend her pack mates till her death

Bio: When she was a pup she was so interested in healing her comrads and aimed to show that her breed wasn't just for fighting that she was picked as a healer as soon as she was old enough to start learning.
Personality: Very kind, freindly, she loves to play with the pups that visit with her, but can also be very serious.

He takes his strength and skill into account and always prefers to be on top. Only working with others when the time comes.

Bio: Ever sense she was a kitten she had been selected out of her little to be a Warrior, because of her long claws and her fit look, but she was also selected to be a hunter for her long legs and stealthy appearance, the elders fought over what she would be and finally they decided to let her be both.
Personality: Hyperactive, fun and silly, sometimes can be moody or depressed but she trys not to show that, she will defend her pack till her death.

Personality: Takes care of those she knows best, can have a sharp tongue toward those she doesn't know too well.

Bio: All she ever wanted was to be a healer after training as hard as she could the elders finally gave her the chance. She proved herself and now is one of the best healers.
Personality: She is a completely trusting cat. She will try and heal the pack to the best of her ability. She doesn’t believe that they have to go to war with the dogs. It was only an accident anyways... Right?

Riva layed in an open area curled up in a heap of splattered black and white fur, her fur heaved up slowly for she was deep in sleep, she remembered the seperation of the animals, she remembered alot of things, like how she was teased for looking like some sort of cow, or for how her eyes were diffrent, a gust of wind picked up past her jolting her awake, she flicked her ear and slowly stood up, she could see alot more dogs still asleep around her but she shook that thought away and started to lightly make her way, away from everyone to go and hunt or something, her ears flicked catching the sounds of other dogs sturring but she shrugged and continued on her way, once at least a good distance away she lowered her front half of her body to the ground in a streatch as she yawned and shook the last bit of tiredness from her peltage, behind her were sevral other dogs fallowing and she shook her head, their system was set up into platoons and she happend to be one of the lucky dogs that were a leader, "thought i told them to sleep in today" she shrugged and shuttered as she moved away

a small form layed in a hunters crawl by some of the shaddy trees, her eyes deep in trance as she stared at the blackbird infront of her, she scraped the ground with light claws as she suddenly flased forward in pursuit of the bird, at the last second the bird gave off an alarming call but she was already upon it and killed it with one swift bite she purred to herself as she glanced up looking for her friend who was off somewhere getting their own pray

Ravenheart awoke in her own sleeping place that was assigned to the healers. She yawned and stretched the tiredness out of her limbs before she looked through her things, she had a few herbs here and there, but needed more. She stretched once more before she spotted a Riva going out, and a few other dogs following her and she decided to tag along if only for a short while before she headed off in her own direction to find other herbs and such, her nose to the ground as she smelt out all the herbs that she was low on.

Nightpelt was stalking a rather large rabbit, she heard the alarm call from a prey she assumed her friend had taken down. The rabbit had heard it too and looked in the direction of the call, which gave nightpelt the perfect oppurtunity to strike. As the rabbit looked toward the bird she was out of her hiding spot in a flash, the rabbit saw her though and took off, though she was already upon it and and sunk her claws into its back to slow it down before she sunk her fangs into its neck, snapping it in a death blow. She looked at the rabbit in satisfaction, this bird would feed several cats, she licked her lips before she picked up her prey and started to drag it to where she heard the bird call out, assuming that she would find her friend there.

Akain's ears pirked slightly at the sound of grass rustling ever so gently. The pack was waking, great just when he thought he had a few moments of time to himself. He sniffed the air to see who was moving then turned away jumpping up onto a rocky ledge that stood four feet above his head with ease. He turned to watch them growling lightly then layed down entertained for the moment simply out of boredom. Since their friend had been captured he hadn't had much fun other than watching cat's torment him from the boreder. This was new interesting since he knew a male bear was stalking near their camp in search of food as well. 'Lets see how you make out today Riva.' He thought giving a small little growl of anticipation.

Riva Rounded a corner as she smelt the sent of fresh hurbs and her head tilted to the side as she pushed her way oh so sneakily through the bushes and poped out behind RavenHeart "shhh im hiding" she smerked as she lowered herself as her group of dogs searched for her, she smerked again "i still have some tricks, so why are you up so early?" she asked as she remembered the news of the missing dog she shook her head "Well if your going out to camp i'll escort you for a bit" she murmered "that is if you want" she shrugged as she started to slink away, her confused dogs keept going in circles fallowing many trails of her scent, she smerked and thought wow iv trained them forever and they still act like dumb dogs she sighed and snuck around the sleeping place, oh so quietly, she watched the rise and fall of other dogs in their sleep, she shook her head to keep focused as she came to the end, their layed a border of thick blackberrys, she smerked remembering how long it took her to make the tunnel, often she would go to Ravenpelt and the others with a hide full of thorns, she smerked and nosed a layer of thorns to open up a tunnel and dissapered into it free for now she thought as she crawled through the tunnels, she had no idea that she was being watched by Akain

She sat and waited for her friend the bird on the ground next to her paws, she sighed and watched other birds stare at her but she shrugged, "wellcome back Nightpelt" she purred as her friend got close enough "so did you hear, one of our packs captured a dog, they say their going to move it to our area because we have the best patrolls or something" she shrugged as she watched her friend

It took everything Akain had not to follow her for now. He would let her go on her way and if she didnt return in an hour he would track her from there. Shifting his weight he looked out towards her group and gave a small groan. "Idiots the whole lot of them." He continued to survey the grounds looking for any signs of life other than the pack. He was aware of Ravenheart looking for herbs a few feet below him and debated joining her but it didn't really peak his interest. The others were all still asleep and of no use to him either. He got to his feet and turned away from the back sniffing the air. From here on west was all free land and he didn't think the others would bother going where they could be captured. He took off in a lazy run at first then let himself go his paws hitting the soft earth noiselessly. He knew this area almost better than the rest. The tree's raced past him as he went. 'Let them sleep' he thought. 'For tonight I shall have a meal for us on my own and we shall see if I can't best it by catching one of the cats who like to press my limits.' He couldn't help smiling to himself as he came to a small grove of trees that had a small pool in the corner. One area undisturbed by all this blood shed. And it was for all purposes his. Akain stretched letting what little moon rays that were left reflect of his pelt the lay under a small underbrush of tree branches that lined the pool.

Through the tunnels she could see the break of dawns first light and once she saw the exit she draged herself halfway out and looked around, the sight always amazed her the fields so green and lush, the sunrise of a new day, she shook her head and came out of the tunnel and steped into the fields, befor he troted forward, she could see sevral grazing hurds of deer, some rabbits and a few birds, she jumped on a rock and licked her lips staring at the many deer, from hear she could already see the weekest of the herd, she could see the old with their stiff joints and the young that new not of nothing, and she could see the strong grazing and keeping aleart "ill go for you later" she said after she picked out a grand old male deer, for now i want to lay hear and think, her eyes half closed as she glanced around the medow

Raven heart was tempted to take riva's offer but decided against it and went back to gathering herbs, her acute nose sensitive to all of the herbs, she always got a kick out of seeing Riva sneaking away and how stupid some of the other dogs could be, she shook her head as she picked up a scent of a herb she needed, she trotted over to a tree and started digging a bit before she found what she was looking for, burdock root. She carefully picked it up before she put it in a place she would remember before she was off to the place she knew some yarrow grew, her paws barely making any noise as she went. Her muzzle was on the ground as she found her way to the patch, she plucked a few of the plant, only enough for her storage before she went back to the burdock root, picking it up carefully in her jaws before she trotted back to camp.

When she had approached her friend she saw the bird that she had killed and placed her rabbit next to it "Yeah i heard about that, some dogs can be so stupid" she chuckled as she sat down, curling her tail around her paws. "All brawn no brain, right?" she chuckled "I'm sure though that the smarter of the dogs will be wanting the prisoner back though, we should be prepaired for that" she said as she began to lick her front paw boredly, pulling some tufts of grass and fur out of her claws.

Akain Sighed and stretched after a few moments no longer wanting to rest. He didn't sleep much anyway. He sniffed the air picking up on a fimiliar scent and took after it. Rabbit maybe but it was distorted with something else... but what was it. Crow? Raven? He couldnt figure it out but it was a bird of some sort. Kicking against the ground lightly he broke through the trees growling in warning as he saw a cat with pure black fur. He stood six to seven times its hight and in no way would fear what the elders said were dangerous warriors. "All Brawn no brain huh." He mocked the growl still deep in his throat as he crouch ready to attack if needed his body shifted in with the longer grass his tail flat on the ground. "Well I'm quite positive I could help..." He paused trying not to lose it on them. "Change your opinions." Awaiting there response he barred his fangs and let his gaze fall on another cat who was closer who he so really wanted to shred.

Nightpelt turned and let out a hiss as a dog approached "Dog, this is our territory" She hissed as her claws came out full length, her fur fluffing up, the dog was big but that also meant that it would be slow as well, to her the bigger they were the harder they fell. She let out a warning growl at the dog "Take another step closer and we will have to attack" she growled as she watched the dog carefully, her blue eyes blazing at him as she watched his every move, it was just her and Meika but she knew that they would be able to take care of a mangy mutt like the one infront of them.

Meikas fur fluffed up as a horrid scent wased upon her muzzle her neck fur bristled as she hissed lightly her ears flicked to her friends voice befor she hissed Watch it NightPelt, theirs another dog over their, she pointed with her tail, if something happens that dog will be alearted and come to help, she hissed in annoyance at her friend "dont make a war whitch can not be won by just two of us" she backed away a bit but not much, "listen dog, get out of our terra, this is your first and last warning, if you ever want to see the other dog again leave" she hissed her fur still fluffed up looking twice her size

"So you understand why I am here then, cat." He growled. "Return him before you do start a war. Your comrades will never find the bodies remember that feline." He stood now going out of his crouch but kept his fangs bared. "This could all be over if you simply hand him over." Taking a small step back to stretch he awaited there answer and was ready at a moments notice to call his near by pack mate. Taking a breath he couldnt help but smile and flash his tail once as Riva's hit him fully. "The choice is yours, bring him here at the moon tomorrow and return him to us." He snarled relaxing his muscles a bit not used to sitting tensed in the same position for long.

Nightpelt continued to growl "We don't take orders from mangy mutts like you, besides, we don't have the dog, hes off in a different section of the forest, it's not up to us what happens to him, besides its his own dumb fault that he was caught to begin with" she growled, she knew that what she said would be a lie but she also knew it was true for the moment, and she had a smug look on her face as she spoke, she had full confidence in her words that the dog was not with them. She stood her ground, not taking a step back but not advancing forward at the same time, she knew better then to provoke a fight that much. "And as for your packmate, are you so weak that you cannot fight two cat's all on your own?" She chuckled and glared at him, her blazing blue eyes locking onto his, defiance in her glare as she stared.

Rivas green gaze glanced up as the down wind blew to her dragging the scents of cats and one of her pack mates, curiousity tugged her fur as she stood up and glanced around, quickly her eyes pin pointed the dog and cats, the dog had crossed the terra, her gaze sharped to reviel "Akain" with two cats. she tilted her head to the side "might as well go investigate" she cleared half the field in a few bounds and slowed as she approtced her ears flicked forward to catch words "Akain?" she asked as she came closer, she glared at the cats

Meika hissed at her friend and cuffed her behind the ear "you mousebrain your the one provoking not him" she hissed as she looked at the dog "we cant do anything, we are not guards, and your dog, whats his name i think iv herd it befor, Roshi i believe is not hear" her eyes narrowed a bit as she thought befor she saw the other dog, she let out a hiss of annoyance, another dog? if this did turn into a fight, her and her friend would not have a good chance she stared at both dogs in curiousity "i ask you again please leave our terra"
