Dattebayo or Believe it

Besides Dattebayo mean more along the lines of "you know what im saying"
besides it sounds cooler

You know what I'm saying seems a lot more smoother to say than BELIEVE IT!
but there are some cases where 'believe it' does work in

Heh well I havent seen any of the english ones, but from what I have heard 'belive it' seems to be said a hell of a lot more, and I prefer dattebayo tbh pirate

I actually lost a bet on this one. I'd bet my brother that they'd change Naruto's catchphrase into "You Betcha!" Although one of my other options was "You better believe it!" - that was too close, should have bet on that one.

This is just one of the many reasons why I don't watch dub. I am a Nihongophile, and most dubbed translations hurt me.

Definetly Dattebayo, I mean Believe it! SHUT UP!!!! It is soooo pointless pretty much all the times in english when Naruto says it, there is no need to say it! It is a never ending cycle of it too! Soo annoying, oh and I don't like the voice of naruto's in english if you couldn't tell. Also when they try to make the kyuubi's voice stand out in naruto's it just sounded so very wrong...
