This one guy came in and said "ShadowSheath: i are literaht" and "ShadowSheath: el oh elj" (which I won't even try to translate), and I responded "metalmalzan: You jest. A toddler could type better than you.", which made him immediately shut up.

*giggles at that* Well... I think it must be a plea for attention... I mean, they're punctuating and capitalizing backwards, but how is that laziness? *tries it* It takes more effort! *ponders* Attention. The sad, desperate plea for attention.

Hm, good question. Maybe it's because they're all hoi polloi zombies and do it because their friends do it and they think it will make them seem like "one of the group". It's all a part of popular culture conformation.
