Not long after Kosa and Verge had arrived in the land of the Aikanaro'hini, he had left her side to attend to some of his leadership duties. He gave her permission to wander about, something she probably would have done anyway. As per usual, she did not use an illusion to disguise herself, so of course she stuck out like a sore thumb. However, it didn't really bother her.

It didn't seem to bother anyone else either. If anyone saw her, they did not question, as gods roamed where they willed, and mortals could say very little about the matter. There was one, however, whose eerie indigo on black eyes espied the goddess, and with all the bold impertinence of a creature half her age, she came sauntering forward, gaze flickering with curiosity. She had never seen a lion with wings before...could they be played with? Did they squirm so well as the others did when faced with things strange and unnatural to them? She wanted to know, she always did, if her words could effect this newcomer, and paddering forward, she came right up to the goddess, wordlessly staring at her...waiting.

Kosa stopped when the young one approached her. She raised a slight brow, waiting for her to say something. Anything. And yet the young one said nothing. After a moment, the goddess decided to break the silence between them. "Hello child."

And Kifa scowled, brows furrowing as she caught nothing from this one. Past...she could feel, dark and dreadful and perhaps a little sad, but they were only fleeting thoughts, nothing she could grasp...and there was naught at all from the future. That was what she really wanted, what she needed to sink her claws into, and she huffed, sulky now. "What are you? I cannot feel you, no I can't. Pretty, deceptive one what are you that Kifatamu cannot feel you?" It was demanding, plaintive even, the young lioness confused and angry with that confusion.

"I am the Goddess of Sin, Mkosaji'Kosa." She extended her neck down so her face was almost touching Kifa's. "And if I were you I'd be careful what you try to pull with me. I've ended the lives of many who did not tread carefully, and I would not hesitate to do it to you."

Kosa was mostly saying this in fun, trying to instill fear into the youth. She wouldn't kill one of Verge's pride. Though, if it got really out of hand she would influence others to do so. However, what could one so young do to invoke that?

A goddess? A deity then? Well that wasn't right...why couldn't she see one of them? She could see everyone! Hardly hearing the goddess' words, she pouted, clawing at the ground in sheer frustration, "That's not fair." She stated, "I can't to be seeing you, I can't see the blood, the end, the tragedy. Kifa wants to see it! Mkosaji'Kosa, tell Kifa why she can't see it? Goddesses do not play fair, no they don't..." The scowl lines deepened, and she quite nearly hissed, the fur along her spine standing on end.

"Temper, temper. You won't always see the end of everything. Especially with something that may never end." This girl seemed slightly spoiled. And from how she was talking, she must be a seer. Kosa had only met a few so far, and they weren't really a lively bunch. But perhaps this one would be a little different. "Besides, Gods and Goddess' are rather...unique in many ways."

Wrinkling up her nose, she stamped a paw impatiently, "Why won't you end? What makes gods so special? Kifa needs to see the end...the end, you see..." She confided, "Is the most important part." Feeling rather self-important, as though the goddess hadn't that knowledge before this moment the adolescent then raised a brow. "Tell Kifa why you have no end? I need to know...know everything if you will not give me your end, my sight will not give me your end..." It trailed off then, the lioness going strangely quiet, her strange eyes flitting over the goddess' dark form.

Kosa pulled back and sat down. This was going to take a bit; though it would be entertaining. "We have no end because we are immortal. Its one of the things that makes us special. Not to say we can't die, we just rarely do. Its not as glorious as it sounds. You get to see alot of things you wish you never did."

Immortal. She comprehended the word, but she didn't like it. It was unnatural, and went against her way fo things. Huffing a bit, she closed her eyes, reflecting inwardly. "Kifa wishes to see it all...there is nothing this one is afraid of seeing, the sight is all, the sight is stained in blood..." She beamed impishly up at the goddess, "Kifa likes blood, you see." A childish explanation, but it fit her mindset perfectly.

"The only way to see all is to travel everywhere. Even then you stil won't see everything. Just alot of things. And why do you like blood so much?" She'd never heard something like that come from a childs mouth.

"Blood means the end..." She replied easily, "Blood, pestilence, death death and darkness..." There was a low, chuckling purr then. "Do you not like ends, Goddess of Sin? Deaths can be sinful too, many chase sins to their own demise. Kifa likes to tell them of the ends, and still they chase it. Silly creatures, the living ones..." Tail-tip twitching to and fro, she watched the goddess, apparently slowly overcoming her dislike of the deity-induced 'blindness'.

"I'm actually very neutral when it comes to the subject of death. Nothing really lasts forever. I'm sure one day everyone will forget about the gods and goddess', and we too shall disappear." Kosa was beginning to take a slight warming to Kifa. "I do have to agree that many mortals are morons. They don't really listen to anyone but themselves."

She giggled then, leaning up to come nose to nose with the lovely goddess. "Kifa likes you...the Lady of Sin is smart." Canting head to one side, her tiny ears swiveling to catch whatever sounds were to be had, she grinned widely, "But Kifatamu tells you now...if you have an end, Lady Sin, then Kifa will find it...even if you come back, you have an end...everyone has an end." It was her compromise. If she could not see it...well, she would find it.

"Well, I wish you luck with that. Perhaps one day i can help you in your quest. But there are others far older that I. Though I have heard of us being reborn. Can't say I ever have been though. Never met one that has been. Maybe its just a legend." Kosa couldn't help but giggle.

"We have a god too..." She replied easily, "Another god, but he's a boygod, apparently. Kifa should be finding him and asking him maybe? Perhapsly he has seen the end..." Her eyes lit up, "Kifa would like that very much." With a new purpose catching fire in her chest, she bobbled her head at the goddess. "Find him, Kifa must, Lady Sin, then Kifa will be finding you again to speak of our question. Is acceptable?" A start, if naught else.

"Yes, of course that is. I do hope you find your answers. Pehaps I too will meet this god you speak of. Though when I am not sure. Sometimes our kind can be awfully hard to find."

Kifa laughed then, "Kifa will tell him that the Lady of Sin is lookin' for him, if this one is to be finding! Don't find your end without Kifa!" She chortled, and with that, she turned tail and scampered away, headed towards the volcano. That place was supposed to be sacred, right? Gods might linger there, if they were to be found at all.
