Achal moved toward the lake where his pride drank looking to Maua with a smiled. They'd been traveling together for a short while and Achal already felt she was a wonderful banu.
"We are here Maua. Up ahead is the lake where we drink and sometimes gather to talk. What you think?"
Achal moved over to the lake sitting before it and lowering his head to drink. He was tired for his journey and it had been such a wonderful one. He wished to drink quickly and head to the den to rest. He figured introductions could wait. He knew there would be one introduction to take place when they reached the den and he was excited to see how Tsu and the cubs were doing.

Maua gave a smile to the male and glanced around the lands, pink eyes noting the coloration - she thought it was simply wonderful. A feeling in her chest rose up. Anxiety? Something, she couldn't place it. She wanted to be accepted here, she knew that.
"It's lovely," she told him before taking a drink herself, only enough to rid herself of the parch. She finished quickly though, wondering slightly with her eyes trained on her... Pad? Yes, that was the word. She took a deep breath, but didn' ask the question that was burning into her mind.
Where were they going after this?

Achal looked to Maua after he had finished his drink. He smiled at her, "I am very glad that you like it."
He moved back from the lake and turned, "We should head toward the den. I will tell you more about the pride and its members. Our lands are large and their are many family here."
Achal moved forward heading the the direction of his den, he wondered if Tsu and the cubs would be in. Looking to Maua grinned, still happy his trip had been quick and fruitful.
"Our den is on the side of the lake where the sun sets. It a bit of a walk, but not unejoyable. They are a few small trees nearby and our den resides in a some tall grasses."

The lithe leopardess moved to follow Pad Achal, trying to picture the den in her mind, concentrating hard with his description. The den sounded wonderful, and she found herself excited to see it.
She would have a family here! She was giddy on the inside, and she felt the emotions swell within her chest. "How many families live here?" She questioned lighty, curiously. It wouldn't matter, though, really. Groups of families making up a large family. Called a pride, yes.
She stuck to the male's side though, unwilling to get lost, though she looked around with sparkling pink-violet eyes.

Achal continue forward heading for his den. He wondered if Tsu and the cubs were even there. He hoped at least Tsu was there. He so absorbed in his thoughts and the walk that he almost didn't hear Maua speak.
He looked back at her, "I'm sorry. My thoughts were wandering. There are several families that live here. I have yet to meet them all, but I do know Sultan Aali. He is the prides leader and he has the largest harem."
Achal turned to see that they were coming upon the den and smiled. "In our family there is Tsubame. She is my beybanu. I have three cubs. My two daughter Jinan and Fayrus and my son Mi'rage Mehtab."
He smiled lightly to himself as they reached the den. He looked back at Maua, "An now I have you Maua."
He looked into the den in the brushes, "Tsu love, are you in there?"

Tsubame had been dozing in the shade of a nearby tree. The cubs were off playing with their friends and she wasn't asked to go hunting so she was resting after chasing after the cubs all morning, well one in particular.
She was thinking about nothing in particular when she heard Achal call her from over by the den. "I'm over here Achal." she called out so he would know where to find her since she was too tired to go to him.

Maua's ears perked at a familiar voice, she tilted her head a bit to the side, and her nose twitched. Tsubame? She looked towards the sound of the voice. Yes, yes, she recognized this lioness, though at first she didn't.
She forced herself to not go forward to check - it could be a different Tsubame afterall, and it was only Logical for Achal to go first, right?
She didn't really know, so she shifted, waiting for some type of respond, unsure of what to do in a Pride - in a family.

Achal smiled at Tsu voice, but he was quickly distracted by Maua reaction to Tsu voice. The female had a look of familarity on her face, but Achal pushed the thought aside. He gave Maua a slight nuzzled and moved forward.
"I'm finally back from my journey Tsu and I've brought a new banu to join our family."
Before he even reached his beybanu, a dark blue cub came bounding at him. "Papa," it shouted before pouncing on his father. "I missed you," he said nuzzling his father.
"I missed you to Mi'rage," said Achal, but his responce was mostly unheard.
Mi'rage was watch the newcomer with a curious expression. His eyes were a light as he wonder who and what she was. He bounded over with his usual energy, running about her.
"Hi, I'm Mi'rage Mehtab. Nice to meet you. Who are you? What are you doing ..." he continued before he was plucked from the ground by his dad, who gave him a disapproving looking and continued heading toward Tsu. Mi'rage pulled his tail and feet up as his dad carried him, he felt like such a baby, but he could help but to continue to steal glances at the newcomer.

Tsubame smiled when she heard that Achal brought another female home with him, "Thats good since you'r kids are running me ragged." She said out loud with laughter in her voice. They wernt really but being a mother was all new to her and one cub in particular was like a mini wind storm.
She got to her paws slowly and started to walk to him, limping ever so sligtly as she put her right front paw down. It's been a while and the cut has healed completley but she was still a little worried that it would get injured again.

A small giggle emitted from the small leopardess when the cub nuzzled his father - it was terribly adorable. She watched the small interactions and she knew she wanted to be apart of that.
With the rapid questioned fired at her, she blinked, opening her mouth to respond, the cub was plucked from the ground and the floral female closed her mouth with a soft click.
With that, she followed Achal closer to a familiar female, pink-violet eyes dazzling with recognition - the first lion she ever met, after all, and the first that dashed from her. She didn't begrudge the female at all though, butMaua considered the girl her first friend, really.
Her brow furrowed as she watched the lioness limp forward, but she stayed silent, shuffling her feet, unsure of what to say.

Achal walked quickly to Tsu happy to see her. He placed Mi'rage on the ground beside Tsu and nuzzles her affectionately. "I have missed you."
Achal steps back and watches as he son plants himself under him surrogate mother and he smiled knowing how much he loves her. He turns looking to Maua and steps aside for introductions.
"Tsu, we have a new banu, whom I have brought to be apart of my harem and lessen your burden. Her name is Maua and I hope that you welcome her with an open heart."
Achal moved over to Maua smiling and giving her an affectionate nuzzle.
"Maua this is Tsubame. She is my beybanu and will help you adjust to life in the pride and in my harem. Please listen to her and kind."
He pointed to his one, "This is Mi'rage Mehtab. He is currently my only son and has too sister, Jinan and Fayrus."
Mi'rage smiled happily at his introduction and darted of to Maua, giving her a nuzzle. He knew having a new banu meant he had a new mother. He was so lucky, now he had three, though he had to leave his first.
"Nice to meet you Mama Maua."

Tsubame nudged her son when sat underneath her and nuzzles Achal back. "I'm glad your back, your cubs are driving me insane." She looked at him with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. "I really am glad your back."
When Achal introduced the new female, Tsubame finally looked at her closely. Before she had just glanced at the leopardess before focusing on her mate and cub. "Maua? Is that really you?" She would have stepped forward but was quite conscious of the cub under her paws. When Mi'rage darted out from under her, Tsu stepped forward and smiled broadly at her new 'sister'. "Maua how have you been?" She was happy and surprised that the new female that Achal had brought home was someone she already knew and liked. "I'm sorry for running when we last met." She said sheepishly.

Maua gave a small nod to Achal. "Of course," she said with a soft smile, letting herself be introduced to the lioness she had already known. She listened to the small rules, ones easy to follow, and even if they were, it was a small price to pay for such a family.
"Nice to meet you, too, Mi'rage," she told the cub, nuzzling him back lightly, heart filling with warmth for her new family, and apparently, her new cubs as well.
Maua's gaze lifted away from the small cub, and she smiled at Tsubame. "It is," she answered with a smile. "I've been, okay. A little lost until I got her," The floral female gave a light giggle. "How've you been," her gaze flickered sympathetically to the limp Tsu was sporting. That can't have been well. "It's alright," she nodded, no harm done, right? Well, she whole body kind of ached at first, with confusion, but that was over now, and she had a family now.

"I'm glad to be back," he said enjoying her presence.
Achal blinked lightly slightly taken aback when it seemed Maua and Tsubame knew each other. He grinned, knowing how lucky he was. It seemed as though he would have no problems in his growing family. He watched Mi'rage for a second who seemed for now content to simply watch Maua.
He turned decided to allow each other to get reacquainted. "I will be back shortly," he said, "I need to talk to Sultan Aali." With that he walked off toward the lake in search of the sultan so that he might.
Mi'rage looked to his retreating father and was torn for a moment between getting to know his newest mother and spending time with his father. He frowned for a moment, but turned and bounded after his papa. Afterall, how else would be learn to be a good pad.

Tsubame nodded sympathetically when Maua said she was a bit lost before she got here. Tsu knew alot about getting lost as her limp was a physical reminder of that time. "I've been good," She looked at Achal, "its been better since I got home." She smiled at her mate and nodded when he and their son went off to the lake looking for the Sultan.
Looking back at Maua, Tsu took a step forward and lightly nudged the leopardess with her shoulder. "Come on I'll show you around a bit more and if you have any questions just ask." The lioness started to walk away, slowly and with a visible limp. With time the limp will disapeire but the memory and the scar will remain with Tsubame for all time. She looked back over her shoulder and smiled, "Come on, I'll tell you what happened since I saw you last." Ever since finding Achal and joining the pride she was a happier lion and now she had a new sister to share with, after all Achal was great but he was still a male.
