Assalaamualaikum
One of my friends and I are having this conversation (over email) where she's telling me about Christianity and I'm telling her about Islam. She wants to know,
"...if you have to pray 5 times each day what happens if you pray 3 or 4 one day and it was too late to do anything about it. Do you think God will say in theory 'Oh you didnt pray 5 times on August 5th 2005 you only prayed 3, you cant enter Heaven.' I just think a loving God wouldnt judge based on that, thats my opinion so the is nooooo offense intended there though. I just wanted to know."
I was going to tell her that we have Kazaa namaz to make up missed prayers and that it'll just be Allah's will what happens to u, but I don't think He'd punish you if u are already consistent in your prayers.
So, please tell me your thoughts on this and if u have a better answer, that would also help!

Acturally, u must do kazai prayer (pray later)
if u don't then u get punished, but u will still come in paradise if u are muslim.
If u are good u will maybe have no punnishment, if ur a bad muslim u will maybe have 56 million years punnishment. but all muslims will enter paradise biggrin
Also, if u intend to do it, then Allah forgives. Cause Allah know every feeling of yours, and what u think. and he knows if ur going to do it smile

The_Pathan Acturally, u must do kazai prayer (pray later) if u don't then u get punished, but u will still come in paradise if u are muslim. If u are good u will maybe have no punnishment, if ur a bad muslim u will maybe have 56 million years punnishment. but all muslims will enter paradise biggrin Also, if u intend to do it, then Allah forgives. Where are you getting this information from? Do you have sources? You are not guaranteed paradise just by being a muslim. If you miss a prayer, you need to pray it before praying the next one. If you missed it a long time ago, you'd have to make up for the prayers you missed. If you regret missing your prayers and ask Allah for forgiveness, he will forgive you =) I attended a few khutbas and lectures in one of the local mosques, and the sheikh was speaking about missing prayers. Of course, prayer is one of the most important things in Islam. On the day of Judgement, Allah (swt) will ask you about your prayers. If you have prayed all of them, then it is fine. If you have not prayed all of them, Allah (swt) will look at all the voluntary prayers you've prayed (sunnah, nawafil, taraweeh, istikhara, two rakaat for the masjid, etc) to fill up the gaps of the ones you've missed. As for any particular punishment, Allah knows best. It depends on your intentions. Were you negligent? Lazy? Or did you refuse to pray? Allah (swt) does not punish sins of forgetfulness if you sincerely ask for forgiveness and try to better yourself.

Well 56 million years was a example. It's very possible 3nodding I heard u had to wait like 1 million years beffore u can enter paradise, if u did kazai and stuff like that.
56 million is a fine example 3nodding
And well, i got told that all muslims enter paradise 3nodding

Ya i must agree with all your statement.. well put smile and ya the whole thing that all muslims go to heaven, well technically everyone goes to heaven eventually... but as for the the people who go directly to heaven well it really doesnt matter what religion you belong to... i mean if you are a good person and truely believe in God, I believe they have a perfect chance to go to heaven as well... I really dont understand how people can think that only one group of people belonging to a specific religion can go to heaven.. makes no sense to me...

For example, if your owner told you to work for him but you work for the others instead, what makes you think your owner gonna reward you for that? Of course he will be mad and fired you up.
This situation makes a common sense when your religion is Islam, only Allah will decide the paradise for you. Not Yesus or the others. Hope you understand.

its not nuts its the the accuracy of God, when you believe that He knows every thing then He DOES know that. if you missed a prayer, you have to pray it the very moment you remember it, if you have missed a lot of prayers then you have to keep praying them all, forexample, i have not been praying for about 7 years, now i have started to pray after Ramadan 5 times a day, now i am doing kazai prayers, and i will keep doing it untill next 7 Ramadan(s) pass by, and then will Allah forgive me, you can't just ask for forgiveness from Allah and say that you don't have to offer the kazai, you have to pray any how, he will punish us if we don't pray.
NOTE:
1.you can offer a prayer that you missed EVER (you just have to do its niyat a little differently)
2.Yes Allah will ask you for the prayer you did not offere on 25 august 2006
3.All muslims will go to janaah(heaven) in the end after they have had the
punishment of their due sins, and non-muslims won't enter in heaven
PS: When you are discussing your religion with a person with different religion, then use their religion to explain your religion. It will help you alot.

But atleast u wont get punnished that much.
They say if ur 15 or under, u can't get sins, right?
And if ur married u can't get sins, right?

No. 31, Verse No. 34, which says... ‘Only Allah knows the hour that is the day of judgement, no one besides Allah knows the day of judgement when will it rain what is in the womb of the mother what will a person earn and where will he die’. These five things no one besides Allah (SWT) knows In this verse glorious Quran does not mean earning money what it means by earning is, earning good deeds or bad deeds, so it is proved that no body except Allah (SWT) knows that who is going to earn sins and who is going to earn good deeds (sawaab).
